Good afternoon Coaches,
Wanted to send a few important updates for this weekend’s Love & Basketball Tournament (Feb 21–22).
LOCATION
All games will be played at YFAC (Young Family Athletic Center)
Address: 2201 Trae Young Drive, Norman, OK 73069
GAME START TIME
Games will begin at 2:00 PM on Saturday.

Schedules will be posted on the OK Fadeaway Hoops App (please check the app for the most up-to-date info)
ARRIVAL / WARM-UP
Teams should arrive at least 30 minutes prior to their first game to allow time for check-in and warm-ups.
COACHES BANDS
Each team will receive 2 coach bands
Coach bands are for coaches only and must be worn at all times while in the facility.

DAILY PASS PRICES (AGES INCLUDED)
Adults (13–59): $15
Kids (5–12): $10

Kids 4 & Under: FREE
GAME DAY SUPPORT
Each facility will have a Site Director on hand. Any questions or concerns on game day must be directed to the Site Director. This is the fastest and most effective way to get things handled.
Please note: Reaching out directly to individuals by phone on game day will not get issues addressed as needed. All event-related matters must go through the Site Director.
FACILITY RULES
All teams, coaches, players, and spectators must follow facility rules and policies, including food and drink restrictions where applicable.
SPORTSMANSHIP & NO TOLERANCE POLICY
OK Fadeaway Hoops has a NO TOLERANCE POLICY for unsportsmanlike conduct. This applies to coaches, players, and spectators. Disrespect toward officials, staff, or other participants will not be tolerated and may result in removal from the facility.

📑 DIVISION GUIDELINES
- D2 (COMPETITIVE/DEVELOPMENTAL – PRIMARY FOCUS): STRONG LOCAL OR REGIONAL TEAMS STILL DEVELOPING CHEMISTRY, FUNDAMENTALS, AND PHYSICALITY. GREAT FIT FOR PROGRAMS GAINING EXPERIENCE AND BUILDING COMPETITIVE CONSISTENCY.
- D1 (ELITE/ADVANCED): HIGH-LEVEL TRAVEL OR CIRCUIT TEAMS WITH ADVANCED PLAYERS AND CONSISTENT TOURNAMENT EXPERIENCE.
- ⚠️ WARNING: D1 TEAMS MAY REGISTER, BUT MUST PLAY UP AT LEAST ONE GRADE LEVEL TO ENSURE FAIR PLAY.

🛎️ PLAYER VERIFICATION (REQUIRED)
PLAYER VERIFICATION (BIRTH CERTIFICATE + REPORT CARD)
ALL TEAMS MUST HAVE BIRTH CERTIFICATES AND THE MOST RECENT REPORT CARDS AVAILABLE FOR EVERY PLAYER TO VERIFY AGE AND GRADE.
- VERIFICATION WILL NOT BE CHECKED BEFORE GAMES, BUT IS REQUIRED IMMEDIATELY IF A PROTEST IS FILED REGARDING A PLAYER'S ELIGIBILITY.
- COACHES MUST HAVE PAPERWORK ON HAND AT ALL GAMES (PHYSICAL BINDER OR ACCESSIBLE DIGITAL COPIES).
- ANY PLAYER WHO CANNOT BE VERIFIED AT THE TIME OF PROTEST WILL BE RULED INELIGIBLE AND MAY RESULT IN A TEAM PENALTY/FORFEIT PER TOURNAMENT RULES.
