Maine Hoops - Town Team Championships

Description

The Town Team Championships return for year number 5! Last year close to 90 Teams participated in the largest Travel State Tournament in Maine!! This event is for Town/City teams and is not open to AAU or Club teams unless ALL players are from the same community. Tournament format will be Pool Play to either Single Elimination Gold or Silver Tournament, so all Levels of ability are welcome. The Gold Championships games will be played at the Augusta Civic Center!! The top two teams from the Gold Division will earn a "Golden Ticket" for the New England Championships. The Tournament offers a 3 Game Guarantee, however, most teams will play a minimum of 4 games.

General Information

On the weekend of February 20-22 Basketball Maine through Maine Hoops will be hosting an official Qualifier Tournament for the 2026 New England Basketball Championships to be held in Providence/Tiverton on March 13-15. All teams finishing 1st or 2nd in each division will qualify for the New England Championship to battle top teams from towns throughout the New England area. (Championship Games to be played at the Augusta Civic Center on February 22nd!!
