In regards to what I recently sent, please use your best judgment when traveling—safety should always come first. As I mentioned we recommend allowing extra time for travel so you can arrive safely. Hopefully all will go well!!

I know a lot of you are wondering about cancellation tomorrow, however, we will not be cancelling games at this time. In Southern Maine, it looks like the tempatures indicate that even with snow, the roads should be driveable. Of course we recommend leaving earlier than normal so that you have plenty of time to get there! If current predictions change, we will make a decision in the morning by 6:00 am. However, if you do not get an email, then games are on.

Please realize that we have teams from all over New England playing this weekend, so let's recognize that deciding to "cancel" on your own impacts others. However, if something comes up, please remember I am in China right now so contact Mike Tatro at 207-590-6269.

We will be awarding Championship T-Shirts to all teams that are playing the full weekend and go 4-0. Please contact Mike Tatro 207-590-6269 if you are 3-0 and he will have T-Shirts at your last game location or make arrangements.

Game scores are reported to Tournament Director Mike Tatro.

Occasionally a score is entered incorrectly, so please review your game results.

📝 Scorer’s Table Responsibilities
Each team MUST provide one person for the scorer’s table.

If teams cannot agree:

Home Team → Official Scorebook
Away Team → Game Clock
One table worker per team receives free admission for the weekend.

Trust us — you probably have a parent who would gladly volunteer for that! Please take care of this before arriving, it keeps the games moving and ensure your parent gets the free admission.

🏟 Gym Opening Times
In most cases, gyms will not open until approximately 30 minutes before the first scheduled game.

Please communicate this to your players and families so they plan accordingly.

On Showcase Weekends we do Daily Admissions (No Weekend Passes) as every team is Guaranteed 2 games each day

We’re getting closer to another weekend of basketball, and the 2nd Draft Schedule for March Mayhem II is now complete!

There were a lot of changes from yesterday, so please take a moment to check your schedule again to make sure you have the most up-to-date information. While I do not anticipate many additional changes, we will send out the Final Schedule tomorrow evening by 7:00, which will include all the key details you’ll need for the event. As always your best option is to download the Maine Hoops Exposure Basketball App.

Teams that finish the weekend 4–0 will also receive Championship T-Shirts.

Well at least I am guessing it will be good morning when you get this message. The first draft of the schedule is done for the weekend. Before you start firing off messages, please know I have some flexibility on Saturday so I "might" be able to help but I have ZERO flexibility on Sunday right now. I am in hopes of having one more gym secured on Wednesday, which would allow me to move things around and get you done earlier, but right now the schedule cannot change.

Most of you know, I always try to help, but sometimes it just is what it is. If you have a schedule issue with Sunday, please only send that if it means "Take me off the schedule, if you cannot make this change" - and be prepared to have that happen.

Anyways I know you all want to make this work for everyone. This weekend is Showcase Style which simply means you get 2 games each day. Teams that go 4-0 receive championship shirts. Here is the link to the schedule and if anyone of you are new PLEASE download the Maine Hoops Exposure App as it will make your life so much easier. I know many of you know but just wanted to make sure everyone was aware I am away in China right now with my daughter Mackenzie who got a great opportunity to join a team here for their Playoff Series. It's been an amazing experience so far.

At first I thougt this would actually help me get schedules out earlier as we are 12 hours ahead of EST. However, I then realized, that it meant I needed to wait on club teams to get me their information and they are operating as usual. Normally I would be starting the final steps for the release of the schedule which would be by 6:00 Tuesday evening. However, It's now midnight here, so yeah sleep is important too. ANYWAYS, here is what you can expect for schedule release this week all your time

FIrst Draft Schedule - By 11:00 pm Tuesday, March 17th
2nd Draft Schedule - By 9:00 pm Wednesday, March 18th
Final Schedule and Tournament Notes - By 8:00 pm Thursday, March 19th.

So basically a couple hours delayed on all fronts. Thanks for understanding I really appreciate it.
