Zaoshang Hao,

This is Lenny sending you a good morning from China and your first draft of the Bracket Buster Schedule. Mark, will be doing most of the communication for Central Maine, but I do the Bracket Busters cause, well, he's old! hahha, and there are few people I can still say that about!

Here are the links to the schedule but you can find the Brackets at the end of the schedule page. The best way to see the Brackets is on the Maine Hoops Exposure App.

We broke this event into two separate events:

Click Here for Maine Hoops Saturday Bracket Buster

Click Here for Maine Hoops Sunday Bracket Buster

If you are playing both days you still need to check both schedules. As a reminder everyone is guaranteed 2 games each day, however, often times even in a consolation round someone might get a 3rd game, so it's important to know how to read the brackets. Here is what you need to know:

Bracketology (How to Read the Brackets)
This event uses a championship bracket format, meaning teams advance based on game results.

Within each bracket you will see:

• Game Numbers – These identify the specific game in the bracket.
• Outcome Placeholders – These show how teams advance.

Examples:
• W1 = Winner of Game 1 moves to that spot
• L1 = Loser of Game 1 moves to that spot
• W2 = Winner of Game 2 advances

Once scores are reported, the brackets will automatically update, showing where teams move next.

This is why we strongly encourage everyone to download the Maine Hoops Exposure Basketball App, where bracket updates and scores will appear almost immediately after they are entered.

Finally, any questions or concerns should be directed to Mark at eclerck@aol.com

As I know Mark mentioned, Bracket Busters are great fun and we have some great specially made T-Shirts for the winners, BUT we don't have the ability, time or space to "Fix" the schedule with requests that is simply the tradeoff. Thanks and good luck this weekend Mark will take it from here!

Good Day All,
Club Directors, many of your coaches and fans have questioned rules, coverage at the tables, admission, etc. That tells me they are not seeing the info.
I want to clarify this weekends event so there is no confusion. This is a Bracket Buster EACH day. Play one day or both. Saturday results will not affect Sunday brackets.
Teams will be placed by 'Level of Play' so yes there may be younger or older kids on the other teams. We do our best to make this event competitive. There are no trophies.
Also know that here in CM we find courts wherever we can to get you games, from Veazie to Waterville to Sabattus and in between. These are not easy to secure and most are single courts. This makes honoring requests impossible. Sooooo, teams sharing players, coaches with multiple teams need to have a backup plan because one team may be north and the other well who knows.
If this affects your plans to play this weekend in CM I need to know now so I can adjust my registrations. Teams pulling out after may be subject to a fee.
Do not wait for the schedule to come out to pull out.
And now the important part. I am instructing my officials and site managers of a zero tolerance policy for bad behavior for any fan, coach or player. This has been a rule for years but who reads the rules, right?
UNRULY FAN/PLAYER: When encountering an unruly fan, coach or player, officials will stop the game and request the team's coach speak to their fan or player to either quiet them or walk them out. Officials will not confront the fan or player. Officials will restart the game when they are satisfied with the situation.

We are at our max capacity and Lenny is working from China. We will be working on the schedule tonight but you may not see it till Weds morning.
