This is the final group notification regarding the tournament schedule. There were only a few adjustments from the previous version, but please take a moment to review the schedule carefully. If any additional issues arise, you will be contacted directly.

📱 Tournament App – Highly Recommended
We strongly encourage all teams to ask their parents to download the Maine Hoops Tournament App. This is the best way to stay up to date with:

Schedule updates
Game scores
Bracket progressions
Important tournament announcements
Teams and clubs that use the app consistently have found it extremely helpful throughout the weekend.

🏆 Showcase Tournament Format
We will be awarding Championship T-Shirts to all teams that are playing the full weekend and go 4-0. Please contact Mike Tatro 207-590-6269 if you are 3-0 and he will have T-Shirts at your last game location or make arrangements.

📊 Scores & Questions

Game scores are reported to Tournament Director Mike Tatro.

Occasionally a score is entered incorrectly, so please review your game results.

If you notice an incorrect score, contact me immediately.

📝 Scorer’s Table Responsibilities
Each team must provide one person for the scorer’s table.

If teams cannot agree:

Home Team → Official Scorebook
Away Team → Game Clock
One table worker per team receives free admission for the weekend.

Trust us — you probably have a parent who would gladly volunteer for that!

🏟 Gym Opening Times
In most cases, gyms will not open until approximately 30 minutes before the first scheduled game.

Please communicate this to your players and families so they plan accordingly.

🎟 Admission
On Showcase Weekends we do Daily Admissions (No Weekend Passes) as every team is Guaranteed 2 games each day

Adults: $11
Seniors & Youth: $8
Admission is valid for all games at all tournament sites.

Credit cards or EXACT CASH are appreciated.

Good Morning,

I received a lot of feeback on the schedule yesterday after I had already released the 2nd draft schedule and to be fair the "criticisms" were fair! So instead of waiting to send a final schedule tonight, I wanted you to ALL please look at the new "2nd Draft" - I was traveling this week and as I mentioned I had some help with the schedule. However, there were somethings that were missed and just not right that I should have picked up on yesterday.

I think the schedule now meets almost every request that was made before the event and some great fixes for people. Take a look and you will still get a final Draft with all the notes this evening. Thank you for your patience, those who have been attending for years, know I don't like making a lot of "Thursday" changes but this time it was needed. I'd rather "get it right" then just "get it done."

The First Draft Schedule is now complete. Full disclosure I am on vacation this week in Key West, so I have had a little help with the schedule. If there is something that doesn't make sense, just let me know and I will go in and tweak it.

🔁 Back-to-Back Games
Maine Hoops will often schedule teams back-to-back for pool play games. We understand many of you travel to Maine and prefer not to spend your entire day waiting between games—this format helps get you in and out of the gym efficiently so you can enjoy the area as well.

That said, if your team prefers not to play back-to-back games, please let us know and we will do our best to accommodate your request where possible.
