Team Addy 3x3 Basketball Tournament Terms and Conditions of Registration By registering for the Team Addy 3x3 Basketball Tournament (the “Tournament”), all participants agree to the following Terms and Conditions: 1. Eligibility 1.1 Participants must meet the age requirements of their registered division. 1.2 Proof of age may be required at check-in. 1.3 Teams must consist of three (3) or four (4) players maximum. 1.4 Players may only compete on one team during the Tournament. 1.5 The Tournament reserves the right to refuse entry to any individual or team. 2. Registration & Payment 2.1 Registration is confirmed only upon receipt of full payment. 2.2 Registration fees are non-refundable unless the Tournament is cancelled by the organizers. 2.3 Teams are responsible for ensuring all player information submitted is accurate. 3. Tournament Format & Rules 3.1 The Tournament will be played under FIBA 3x3 basketball rules unless otherwise specified by organizers. 3.2 The Tournament Director reserves the right to modify format, scheduling, or rules due to weather, venue constraints, or unforeseen circumstances. 3.3 All referee decisions are final. 4. Code of Conduct 4.1 Players, coaches, and spectators must display sportsmanship at all times. 4.2 Abusive language, fighting, harassment, or unsportsmanlike conduct may result in immediate ejection and/or disqualification. 4.3 The Tournament reserves the right to remove any participant or spectator who violates these standards without refund. 5. Health & Safety 5.1 Participants acknowledge that basketball is a physical sport involving risk of injury. 5.2 Participants confirm they are physically fit to compete. 5.3 Players are responsible for their own medical insurance coverage. 5.4 The Tournament is not responsible for injuries sustained during participation except where required by law. 5.5 Emergency medical treatment may be provided if necessary. 6. Liability Waiver 6.1 By registering, participants release and hold harmless the Tournament organizers, sponsors, volunteers, venue owners, and affiliates from any liability for injury, loss, or damage arising from participation, except in cases of gross negligence. 6.2 Participants assume all risks associated with participation in the Tournament. 7. Media Release 7.1 Participants grant the Tournament the right to use photographs, video, and recordings taken during the event for promotional purposes without compensation. 7.2 Participants waive any rights to inspect or approve such media use. 8. Equipment & Uniforms 8.1 Teams must wear matching jerseys/shirts. 8.2 An official FIBA 3X3 game ball will be provided by the Tournament. 8.3 Appropriate INDOOR basketball footwear is required. 9. Disqualification 9.1 Teams may be disqualified for providing false information, violating rules, engaging in misconduct, or abusive behaviour. 9.2 Disqualification does not entitle the team to a refund. 9.3 Any disqualification will be at the sole discretion of Tournament organizers, and any decisions to disqualify a team or individual will be final and without recourse. 10. Privacy 10.1 Personal information collected during registration will be used solely for Tournament administration and communication. 10.2 Information will not be shared with third parties except as necessary for event operations. 11. Agreement By completing registration, participants acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions. They also agree to share this information with all of the players on their 3x3 team and their parents/guardians.
