Description

We are pleased to announce the upcoming Valentine's Shootout on Sunday, February 15th. The scoreboard keeper will verify each player’s grade to ensure teams are in the correct division. We invite both competitive and developmental boys' teams in the 9U through 16U/10th age divisions to participate. Games will be held at the following locations: - CSUN Activity/Student Center: 18111 Matador Rd, Northridge, CA 91330 - De Toledo High School: 22622 Vanowen Street, West Hills, CA 91307 - Emek Academy: 15365 Magnolia Blvd, Sherman Oaks, CA 91403 - CSUN Activity Center: 18111 Nordhoff St, Northridge, CA 91330 We look forward to your participation. The event will follow a shootout format with the following registration options: - Option One: $75 per team (1-game guarantee) - Option Two: $150 per team (2-game guarantee) Payments can be made via Venmo to @conrad-spriggs or through Zelle at 818-812-0091. Spectator admission is $15 for adults, and children are free.

General Information

- Fouls: Players are allowed 6 fouls per game.
- Eligibility: The scoreboard keeper will verify each player’s grade to ensure teams are in the correct division.
- Parking: Free parking is available on Zelzah Avenue. Please note that parking within the lot requires a paid permit to avoid a citation.

Jr. NBA Member

The Jr. NBA is the official youth basketball participation program of the NBA. The Jr. NBA includes a free, membership-based program for existing youth basketball leagues/organizations. The membership is to help encourage and support youth basketball participation at the grassroots level and improve the overall youth basketball experience for all participants. The Jr. NBA aims to develop a lifelong passion for the game of basketball in boys and girls ages 6-14 by teaching them the fundamentals of the sport while instilling core values including teamwork, respect and sportsmanship.
