The Flame City Classic, hosted by the Fire Basketball Program, brings together top youth basketball teams from across the region for an exciting day of competition in beautiful Lynchburg, Virginia. Open to teams in 4th through 8th grade, this tournament delivers a premier playing experience inside one of the nation's top collegiate athletic environments - LIBERTY UNIVERSITY. Teams will compete on championship-level courts inside Liberty's outstanding basketball facilities, including the state-of-the-art LaHaye Center, a professional lighting, high-energy setting that makes every game feel big-time! 4th Grade
Grade Policy: An athlete who is in the 4th grade as of October 1, 2025 and who is no older than 11 on or before August 31, 2026, is eligible to compete in the 4th Grade division.
5th Grade
Grade Policy: An athlete who is in the 5th grade as of October 1, 2025 and who is no older than 12 on or before August 31, 2026, is eligible to compete in the 5th Grade division.
6th Grade
Grade Policy: An athlete who is in the 6th grade as of October 1, 2025 and who is no older than 13 on or before August 31, 2026, is eligible to compete in the 6th Grade division.
7th Grade
Grade Policy: An athlete who is in the 7th grade as of October 1, 2025 and who is no older than 14 on or before August 31, 2026, is eligible to compete in the 7th Grade division.
8th Grade
Grade Policy: An athlete who is in the 8th grade as of October 1, 2025 and who is no older than 15 on or before August 31, 2026, is eligible to compete in the 8th Grade division.
