Fadeaway Hoops 3v3 Fall League K Prep

Coaches,

It’s GAME WEEK! We’re excited to get our 3v3 League started this Sunday, September 6.

Please review the information below carefully, as there are several important items that need to be completed before the season begins.

LEAGUE DATES

- September 6 & 20
- October 4 & 18
- November 1 & 15
- Each team will play two games on each league Sunday.

Games will be scheduled between 9:00 AM and 2:30 PM each Sunday.

SEASON SCHEDULE & SCHEDULING REQUESTS

We will begin building the FULL SEASON SCHEDULE this evening.

The complete season schedule will be released Thursday afternoon and will include your game times for all six league dates.

If your team has any scheduling requests for the season, those requests must be communicated to us by the END OF TODAY.

This includes:

- Earliest time your team can play
- Latest time your team can play
- Conflicts on a particular league date
- Any other scheduling limitations we need to be aware of
We will do our best to accommodate scheduling requests for the regular league dates.

IMPORTANT: We will NOT be able to honor scheduling requests for Sunday, November 15. This is our bracket weekend, and game times will be determined by bracket placement and results.

Please send all other season-long scheduling requests by the end of today. Once we begin building the schedule, we cannot guarantee that late requests can be accommodated.

WEEK 1 JERSEY TOPS

For Week 1, each team will need to provide its own jersey tops or shirts.

Home Team: White or light-colored top
Away Team: Dark-colored top
These do not have to be official uniforms for the first week.

Beginning Week 2, we will provide the league jersey tops.

IMPORTANT: We are providing JERSEY TOPS ONLY. Teams and players are responsible for providing their own basketball shorts for the entire season.

ROSTERS

A roster link has been sent out for each team. Please complete your roster as soon as possible.

The required information for each player is:

- First and last name
- Jersey number
- Jersey size
- I ndicate whether the jersey size is Youth/Kids or Adult
- Please make sure the jersey sizing information is accurate so we can prepare your team’s tops.

RULES & GAME FORMAT

The league rules are attached to this email.

Please make sure all coaches review the rules and game format before Sunday.

Games will be played with a shot clock and using FIBA-style 3v3 rules. The attached rules include the complete format, timing, scoring, possession rules and other important information for the season.

SPECTATORS – DOWNLOAD THE OK FADEAWAY HOOPS APP

Please have your parents, families and spectators download the OK Fadeaway Hoops app before arriving this weekend.

The app gives spectators easy access to:

- League schedules and schedule updates
- Game times
- Facility and event information
- Admission purchases
- Tickets
- Important league updates throughout the season
- ADMISSION

Spectators can purchase admission in advance by downloading the OK Fadeaway Hoops app and purchasing their admission directly through the app.

We strongly encourage spectators to download the app and purchase admission before arriving. This will help make entry into the facility quicker and easier.

If admission is purchased at the door, please note that WE ARE CASH ONLY AT THE DOOR.

ADULT SEASON PASS

We also offer an Adult Season Pass for spectators who plan to attend throughout the season.

The season pass provides savings compared to purchasing individual admission each week and can also be purchased through the OK Fadeaway Hoops app.

Please note:

- Season passes are for ADULTS ONLY.
- Season passes are assigned to the individual who purchased the pass.
- Season passes cannot be transferred to another person.
- A valid photo ID MUST be presented each time the season pass holder enters the facility.
- The photo ID is required so we can verify that the person using the pass is the individual it was purchased for.
- Please share this information with your parents and spectators before Sunday so everyone is prepared.

IMPORTANT ITEMS TO COMPLETE

Before the season begins, please make sure you have:

- Submitted all scheduling requests by the end of today, with the understanding that November 15 bracket weekend cannot accommodate scheduling requests
- Completed your team roster
- Reviewed the attached league rules
- Prepared your own jersey tops/shirts for Week 1
- Made sure your players have their own basketball shorts
- Communicated admission and app information to your parents and spectators

3v3 LEAGUE - WEEK 1 UPDATE

Coaches,

Our Week 1 schedule is complete and available now. We will be working on the remainder of the season schedule throughout the weekend.

A few important reminders before Sunday:

Please make sure your team arrives at least 20 minutes before your scheduled game time each week.
Please check your schedule again before heading to the gym each Sunday to make sure you have the most current game times.
For Week 1, teams will need to bring their own jersey tops. Our league jersey tops are currently in production and are running a little behind. We expect them to be available beginning Week 2.
The 3v3 league rules are attached. Please take some time to review them before Sunday so everyone is familiar with the format. If you have any questions, please reach out.
Admission at the door is CASH ONLY.
Spectators can purchase admission online by downloading the OK Fadeaway Hoops app.
A season pass is also available through the app and provides some savings for families planning to attend throughout the season.
If you purchase a season pass, you must show a valid ID each Sunday at the door to receive your season pass credentials for that week.
Each team receives ONE coach pass. Please make sure the coach signs in before the team’s first game.
We are excited to get our 3v3 league started. One of the biggest benefits of 3v3 basketball is development. With fewer players on the court, athletes get more touches, more opportunities to make decisions, and more chances to work on spacing, passing, cutting, defending, communication, and playing without the ball.

Everyone has to stay involved on both ends of the floor, which creates a great environment for players to learn, compete, and grow.
