The Maine Basketball League (TMBL) - Maine's newest provider of Youth and Adult Basketball Leagues is excited to announce our second Adult Men's League in Southern Maine with the MeThe Maine Basketball League (formerly SMHL) is excited to announce the details of our Summer Basketball League for students entering Grades 4-8 in the Fall of 2026. After a hugely successful Winter League, TMBL is looking forward to getting your teams back on the court. We also have openings for Individuals to participate as Free Agents.

General Information

Season Dates - June 23 - July 30
Play Dates - Tuesdays and Thursdays 

Number of Games - Every team will play 8 games plus playoffs. Teams will have 2 games on each play date. 

Open to All Teams - Unlike the Winter to TMBL, the summer basketball league is open to all teams, local, club, AAU in Grades 4-8. However, we will still work to balance schedules. 

Location of Play - Portland Sports Complex, Maine Basketball Academy and Maine Sports Arena (Saco)

Cost of League - $975

Free Agent/Individual Registrations - We are accepting "Free Agents" - players who are looking to play but don't have a team. Cost $250 and includes a Uniform top. Please Click Here to Register as a Free Agent.
