Description

Join the JamFest 3-Point Contest, which will be held at the Sandy Promenade in Sandy, Utah on the evening of Friday, August 28, 2026, as part of Thurl Bailey's JamFest event.

General Information

The JamFest 3-Point Contest is part of Thurl Bailey's JamFest 3v3 Basketball Tournament in Sandy, UT. The 3-Point Contest will have Adult, High School, and Youth divisions for boys and girls (men and women). Participants DO NOT have to play in JamFest 3v3 in order to participate in the 3-Point Contest

3-POINT CONTEST RULES
-- Each contestant will shoot five 3-point shots from five different designated locations behind the 3-point line (25 total shots).
-- The first four shots at each location are worth 1 point. The last shot at each location is worth 2 points. (30 points possible)
-- If the contestant makes a shot but steps on or over the 3-point line, then the points from that shot do not
count towards the contestant’s total and the shot attempt is forfeited.
-- There is not a time limit for contestants on this event.
-- The contestant from each division that accumulates the most points wins the contest.
-- If multiple participants are tied after the first round, additional rounds with three shots from five different designated locations will be held until there is only one winner who will be awarded a prize.
