🏀 HUCK FEST 3v3 — YOUTH RULES

FAST-PACED • FAMILY-FRIENDLY • FIBA-STYLE

Teams: 3 players on the court. Up to 5 players per roster (3 + 2 substitute).

Game Length: 20-minute running clock OR first team to 21 points, whichever comes first.

Scoring: Baskets inside the arc = 1 point. Baskets behind the arc = 2 points. Free throws = 1 point.

Starting Possession: Coin flip or rock-paper-scissors. Winner chooses possession to start the game or potential overtime.

After a Made Basket: THE BALL WILL BE CHECKED AT THE TOP OF THE KEY.

After a Miss/Steal: If the defensive team gains possession, the ball must be cleared behind the arc before attempting to score.

Dead Balls/Fouls/Out of Bounds: Play resumes with a check ball at the top of the court.

Substitutions: Subs may enter during a dead ball before the check ball. Keep substitutions quick.

Overtime: If tied when time expires, first team to score wins.

Team Fouls: Every foul is 1 free throw.

No Stalling: Teams must actively attempt to score. Officials can begin a verbal countdown when necessary.

Sportsmanship: ZERO TOLERANCE for fighting, taunting, abusive language, or disrespect toward officials, players, volunteers, or spectators. Players or spectators may be removed from the event.

Coaching: Coaches and parents may encourage players, but no arguing calls or excessive sideline coaching. We want players playing and making decisions.

Official's Decision: Officials have final authority on the court. Keep it moving—no prolonged arguments or replay discussions.
