NCAA High School Certified Event Rules
July 24–26, 2026 | Atlanta, Georgia
Player Eligibility
All players must be enrolled in high school and compete with their graduating class unless permitted by NCAA certification guidelines.
Every player must be registered through the NCAA Certification system (BBCS) before participating.
Players must have a valid NCAA ID.
Teams are responsible for ensuring all roster information is accurate before the event.
Team Check-In
Team representative must check in at least 60 minutes before the first scheduled game.

Government-issued photo ID (if requested)
School ID or proof of enrollment (if requested)
Grade verification (if requested)
Game Format
Two 16-minute stop-clock halves
3-minute halftime
Overtime: 2 minutes
Second overtime begins with sudden death (first score wins)
Timeouts
Three (3) full timeouts per game
One additional timeout in overtime
Mercy Rule
Running clock during the second half when a team leads by 20 points or more.
Normal clock resumes if the lead drops below 20.
Fouls
Players foul out on the 5th personal foul.
Team bonus:
7th team foul: One-and-One
10th team foul: Double Bonus
Shot Clock
30-second shot clock for all NCAA High School Certified divisions.
Warm-Up
Minimum 3-minute warm-up if the schedule permits.
Uniforms
Home team wears light jerseys.
Away team wears dark jerseys.
Jerseys must have clearly visible numbers.
Bench Conduct
Coaches are responsible for the conduct of players, assistants, and spectators.
Unsportsmanlike behavior may result in technical fouls, ejections, or removal from the facility.
Technical Fouls
Two technical fouls on a player or coach results in automatic ejection.
Fighting results in immediate ejection and possible removal from the tournament.
Game Ball
Boys: Official Size 7 (29.5”)
Girls: Official Size 6 (28.5”)
Protest Rule
Judgment calls cannot be protested.
Eligibility protests must be submitted before the conclusion of the game.
Forfeit Policy
Teams not ready to play within 10 minutes of the scheduled game time may forfeit.
Sportsmanship
Good sportsmanship is expected from all players, coaches, and spectators. Tournaments of Champions reserves the right to remove any individual whose conduct is detrimental to the event.
NCAA Certified Event Policies
College coaches are invited to attend in accordance with NCAA live period regulations.
Teams and athletes must comply with all NCAA certification requirements.
Failure to meet NCAA certification guidelines may result in removal from the event.

NCAA Certified
Verify that this event is NCAA certified by visiting certified basketball events and summer leagues on the NCAA website.
All teams participating at an NCAA certified event must register online prior to reporting to participate in the event. Failure to register and submit all required information will result in a team being denied participation in all NCAA certified events. Coaches are expected to keep their online rosters updated.

All individuals who are involved in coaching activities at a NCAA certified event must renew their USA Basketball Coach License and be approved by the NCAA prior to participation in the event. This must be completed in order to sit on a bench at any NCAA certified event.
Jr. NBA Member 
The Jr. NBA is the official youth basketball participation program of the NBA. The Jr. NBA includes a free, membership-based program for existing youth basketball leagues/organizations. The membership is to help encourage and support youth basketball participation at the grassroots level and improve the overall youth basketball experience for all participants. The Jr. NBA aims to develop a lifelong passion for the game of basketball in boys and girls ages 6-14 by teaching them the fundamentals of the sport while instilling core values including teamwork, respect and sportsmanship.
