Youth Basketball Showcase – Terms & Conditions 1. Participation Requirements All players must be registered and provide accurate personal information. Participants must meet the age requirements set by the event organizers. A parent or legal guardian must approve and sign all registration forms for minors. 2. Health & Safety Players must be physically able to participate and are encouraged to consult a doctor if unsure. Any injuries or medical conditions must be disclosed before the event. Organizers may remove a player from participation if safety becomes a concern. 3. Waiver & Liability Participation is voluntary. By joining, players and guardians acknowledge the risks associated with athletic activity. The event organizers, staff, and facility are not responsible for injuries, lost items, or personal property damage. Guardians agree not to pursue claims against the organizers for accidents or injuries that occur during the event. 4. Code of Conduct Players must show respect to coaches, officials, staff, and other participants. Unsportsmanlike behavior, bullying, harassment, or fighting will result in removal from the event. Parents and spectators must also behave respectfully; disruptive behavior may lead to removal from the facility. 5. Media & Photography The event may record video, take photos, or livestream portions of the showcase. By participating, players and guardians grant permission for images or footage to be used for event promotion, social media, and future marketing. If a guardian does not want their child included in media, they must notify organizers in writing before the event. 6. Refunds & Cancellations Registration fees are non‑refundable unless the event is canceled by organizers. If a player cannot attend, no refunds or credits will be issued unless otherwise stated. 7. Equipment & Attire Players must wear appropriate athletic clothing and shoes. Personal equipment brought to the event is the responsibility of the participant. 8. Event Changes Organizers may adjust schedules, locations, or activities if necessary. Participants will be notified of changes as soon as possible. 9. Acceptance of Terms By registering, players and guardians acknowledge they have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions.

How We Use Your Information We use collected information to: Register athletes and manage event participation Communicate schedules, updates, and event details Process payments and confirm registration Ensure athlete safety and emergency preparedness Create event recaps, highlight reels, and promotional materials Improve our website, registration process, and overall event experience 4. Media Use & Consent By participating in the Youth Basketball Showcase, athletes and parents acknowledge that photos and videos may be taken during the event. These may be used for: Event promotion Social media posts Recruiting materials Website content If you prefer not to have your athlete included in media content, please notify us in writing before the event. 5. How We Protect Your Information We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal data from unauthorized access, disclosure, or misuse. While no system is completely secure, we strive to maintain industry‑standard protection. 6. Sharing Your Information We do not sell or rent personal information. We may share limited data only with: Event staff and volunteers for operational purposes Third‑party service providers (registration platforms, payment processors) College coaches or scouts, only with explicit consent We may also disclose information if required by law. 7. Children’s Privacy Because this event involves minors, we require parent or guardian consent for all athlete registrations. We do not knowingly collect information from children without parental involvement. 8. Data Retention We retain personal information only as long as necessary for event operations, legal compliance, or record‑keeping. Media content may be kept indefinitely unless a removal request is submitted. 9. Your Rights Parents/guardians may request: Access to the personal information we hold Corrections to inaccurate information Removal of photos or videos featuring their athlete Deletion of registration data after the event Requests can be submitted via email. 10. Refund Policy

1. General Refund Policy The Youth Basketball Showcase strives to provide a high‑quality experience for all athletes. Because event costs are planned and committed in advance, we maintain the following refund policy: 2. Refund Eligibility Refunds are available up to 10 days before the scheduled showcase date. All refund requests must be submitted in writing via email to lucas.megleo@threestep.com. Approved refunds issued before the 10‑day cutoff will be returned to the original payment method, minus any non‑refundable processing fees charged by third‑party payment platforms. 3. No Refunds Within 10 Days of the Event No refunds will be issued for any reason starting 10 days before the showcase. This includes cancellations due to schedule conflicts, injury, illness, travel issues, or personal circumstances. This policy ensures we can finalize staffing, facility rentals, uniforms, and other event expenses. 4. Event Cancellation by Organizers If the Youth Basketball Showcase is canceled by the organizers (e.g., due to facility issues or safety concerns), participants will receive either: A full refund, or A credit toward a future showcase or event.
