General Information
The ODS Top 50 Showcase is an elite one-day (Saturday or Sunday) event designed to identify and showcase the top youth basketball players in each grade level. The event combines high-level skill development with competitive game play, giving athletes the opportunity to develop their skills, compete again like talent and earn recognition on the ODS top 50 rankings.
Grades 6-12th
Every Participant Receives:
Numbered reversible ODS Showcase Jersey
1.5 hours of elite skill development
3 hours of competitive game
Evaluation by local area club coaches and high school coaches
Elite Skill development consists of the following:
Ball handing under pressure
Finishing through contact
Shooting (catch and shoot & off the dribble)
Decision making and small sided games
Defensive footwork and competitive drill
Evaluation Criteria:
Shooting, ball handing, passing, finishing, defense, athleticism, basketball IQ, competitiveness, leadership, coachability and overall impact
