Basketball Maine is excited to officially launch an entirely new approach to player development under the direction of Dylan Goodman, Basketball Maine's Director of Basketball Training.

Skills Labs - Players train once each week in small groups (maximum of 12 players) with instruction focused on:

✅ Finishing
✅ Shooting
✅ Decision Making
✅ Competitive Small-Sided Games

Every session is designed to help players understand not just how to perform skills, but when and why to use them in game situations.

Groups are organized by both age and ability level to maximize player development.

Age Groups - August Schedule
Location - Portland Sports Complex, 512 Warren Avenue, Portland

• Grades 2-5 - Mondays 5:00 - 6:00 PM
• Grades 6-8 - Fridays 6:00 - 7:00 PM
• Grades 9-12 - Friday 7:00 - 8:00 PM

Shooting Lab gives players weekly opportunities to improve every aspect of their shot while receiving personalized instruction from Basketball Maine's coaching staff.

Training includes:

🏀 Game Speed Shooting
🏀 Shooting off the Dribble
🏀 Spot-Up Shooting
🏀 Using Screens
🏀 Footwork
🏀 Conditioning
🏀 Personalized Shooting Feedback

Players receive hundreds of quality repetitions every month while learning proper mechanics and game application.
