High School Girls Training Divisions
High School Girls Training offers the following divisions. Any documents can be viewed, printed or downloaded.
Training Option 1- Gene Houston
OPTION 1: Training with Gene Houston: Combo Training (HS Girls) Mondays: September 14, 21, and 28, 7:15-9:00 PM Thursdays: September 3, 10, 17, 24, 7:15-9:00 PM Wednesdays: October 7, 14, 21, 28, 7:15-9:00 PM UW Health Sports Factory, 305 S. Madison St. Rockford Take your all-around offensive game to the next level with Combo Training. Players will develop game-ready skills through drills focused on shooting, ball handling, finishing at the rim, and finishing through contact. Each session emphasizes game-speed repetition, confidence, and decision-making to help players become more complete and effective offensive threats
Training Option 2- Darryl Watkins
OPTION 2: Training with Darryl Watkins: Efficient & Elite Scoring (HS Girls) Wednesdays: September 2, 9, 16, 23, 30, 7:15-9:00 PM Tuesdays: October 6, 13, 7:15-9:00 PM UW Health Sports Factory, 305 S. Madison St. Rockford Develop the ability to score smarter and more efficiently by learning your strengths, finding your scoring spots, and creating quality scoring opportunities within a half-court offense. Training emphasizes game-like reads, footwork, spacing, and shot selection.
Training Option 3- Cierra Morris
OPTION 3: Training with Cierra Morris (HS Girls) Tuesdays: September 1, 8, 15, 22, 29, 7:15-9:00 PM UW Health Sports Factory, 305 S. Madison St. Rockford Develop the core skills every player needs to succeed. Athletes will improve their ball handling, shooting, passing, footwork, finishing, and defensive technique through competitive drills and game-like situations that build confidence and consistency.
Training Option 4- Taylor Stinson
OPTION 4: Training with Taylor Stinson: Shooting and Footwork Saturdays (September 19th, October 3rd, October 17th) 1:00-2:30 PM 5th-7th Grade Girls 2:30-4:15 PM 8th-12th Grade Girls Flodin Boys & Girls Club, 998 S. Lyford Rd. Rockford Sharpen your offensive game with focused instruction on shooting mechanics, footwork, balance, and game-speed scoring. Players will work on shot preparation, balance, rhythm, catch-and-shoot situations, shooting off the dribble, and game-speed footwork that translates directly into competition.
