The goal is simple: to encourage and empower positive choices in the lives of our young people by providing access to extra-circular activities, including athletic, musical, and academic endeavors. Work ethic, dedication, competitiveness, teamwork, and perseverance are just of the many life-long skills learned and fostered through participation in activities as a child or young adult. All our community’s young people need the skills to compete and be successful. We provide funding for our youth to participate in activities so that they can build and harness skills necessary to succeed.

General Information
Hoops for Hope is a 501(c)(3), non-profit organization proudly serving the Happy Valley/Clackamas community. Our board is comprised of local families motivated to be a source of good in the community. The organization is dedicated to creating opportunities for all kids in the Clackamas / Happy Valley community.

Jr. NBA Member 
The Jr. NBA is the official youth basketball participation program of the NBA. The Jr. NBA includes a free, membership-based program for existing youth basketball leagues/organizations. The membership is to help encourage and support youth basketball participation at the grassroots level and improve the overall youth basketball experience for all participants. The Jr. NBA aims to develop a lifelong passion for the game of basketball in boys and girls ages 6-14 by teaching them the fundamentals of the sport while instilling core values including teamwork, respect and sportsmanship.
