General Information

Ref fee: $12 per game
Format: 3 players on the court

• Game Length: Two 8 minute halves (16 minute total regulation)

• Halftime: 2 minute break.

• Overtime: First team to score 2 points wins.

• Scoring:
• Inside the arc: 1 point.
• Behind the arc: 2 points.

• Possession: Coin toss or rock, paper, scissors determines first possession.

• Check Ball: Every possession starts with a check at the top of the key.

• Change of Possession: After every made basket, the defensive team takes possession and must clear the ball beyond the 2 point arc before attacking.

• Rebound or Steal: The team gaining possession must clear the ball beyond the 2 point arc before attempting to score.

• Ball Out of Bounds: Possession is checked at the top of the key.

• Jump Balls: Awarded to the defensive team.

• Fouls:
• No free throws.
• Team fouls are tracked each half.
• On the 7th team foul and beyond, the offended team receives 1 point plus possession.

• Unsportsmanlike Fouls:
• 2 points awarded plus possession.
• Flagrant or excessive behavior may result in ejection.

• Timeouts:
• One 30 second timeout per team, per game.

• Mercy Rule:
• If a team leads by 15 or more points with 4 minutes remaining, the game ends.

• Substitutions:
• Allowed only during dead balls or timeouts.
• Substitute must check in before entering.

• Sportsmanship:
• Respect officials, opponents, and spectators.
• Unsportsmanlike conduct or fighting results in immediate ejection and possible tournament disqualification.

• Officials have the final authority on all rulings.
