BWSL: The League will be a league-play formatted tournament, where six of the the best teams in each age/grade group will square off against each team in their age/grade group in round-robin regular league play, followed by championship & consolation playoff brackets. The League will guarantee each team no less than nine (9) games over the course of two separate weekend sessions at the BooPlex in Hampton, VA. Each age/grade group will have six (6) teams, divided into two (2) divisions. Teams will play division opponents twice and non-division opponents once during regular league play. Each team will qualify for the playoffs, seeding will be determined based off of regular league play win percentage. The top two seeds in each age/grade group will receive a first round bye in the playoffs. |

Session I will be March 24-26, 2017. Session I will give each team the opportunity to face off against each team in their age/grade group once, totaling five (5) games. Session II will be April 14-16, 2017 (BOYS ONLY) & May 12-14, 2017 (GIRLS ONLY) and teams will play their last two division games and their playoff games, totaling no less than four (4) games. |
