The deadline to complete team verification is June 3.
Athlete requirements:
All players must submit age and school grade verification documentation. Grade based divisions must submit documentation for the current (2023-24) school year, if necessary.
Player’s guardian of all rostered athletes must sign the tournament waiver.
Following registration, a link will be provided to begin the roster verification process. Only teams with entry submitted and registration paid, will be allowed to join the tournament or begin the verification process.
Coach and Bench Personnel Requirements:

All coaches and bench personnel must hold a valid USA Basketball 2023-2024 Coach License, which includes passing a criminal background screen. ONLY licensed coaches and licensed bench personnel may be listed on the team roster and receive a credential.

Roster Size & Makeup:
Team rosters are capped at 15 members total (players and coaches combined) and must include a minimum one (1) licensed coach.
An athlete may only appear on one (1) roster at the U.S. Open Basketball Championships and WILL NOT be allowed to play for multiple teams.
Bench Rules:
Only eligible and rostered team members (athletes or coaches) are allowed on the bench or competition floor at any time during competition. All coaches must wear and visibly present their tournament credential while sitting on the bench through the entirety of the event.
