Hi coaches, if you are playing in the post-season tournament and have not yet confirmed you have received your schedule, please do so as soon as possible by emailing tom_sunderman@yahoo.com and jdeaton.athletics@gmail.com with your team name and division. So far we have had about a third of the teams participating confrim their schedule

The schedule for the spring league tourney is now posted. WE want to remind everyone that is not seeded with exactness as we took into factor multiple things. Not having teams from same organization playing each other until semis, schedule requests that were sent in, overall results and so on.

PLease look over the schedule and if there are any scheduling issues let us know by 9am Thursday. We will look at these and see if there is a possible change we can make. All games are being played at Landmark.

You will be responsible for the referee fees at the start of each game. There will be individual awards for winning team's kids (no team award). There will be a limit on how many awards for each team based on rosters.

Coaches,

Two things:

1. There has been way too many cancellations and forfeits the last 2 - 4 week. This causes more than inconvenience for the league but rather creates an issue for the gyms, the oppnonents, their families and the officials. Other families are inconvenienced when a game is forfeited or cancelled late as they may have other plans with their other family members that they are missing out on. The officials still need to be paid for their time away from their families. The gyms are out worker costs, utility cost, missed income and time for their managers.

So when you cancel it isn't as simple as a friendly call. Tell your parents to coomunicate earlier and let them know they committed to the team and league. Every Monday I send out an email to all my 5th grade, 8th grade, and all the Kings parents to confirm who will and will not be at practice and games for that week, They must let me know in case we need to get subs, and gives me time to arrange that. Set up a communication chain for your teams.

2. I sent info about the spring league tourney out earlier this week and only 11 teams have responded. We must know who is and is not playing in the tourney. It will be held May 31 - June 6. This info shold be emailed along with any conflicts to tom_sunderman@yahoo.com.

The spring league tourney will be held May 31 - June 6. Games will be played at Landmark, Friars and Sports of All Sorts.

It is a one and out tourney which coaches are responsible for the ref fees. The tourney brackets will come out around Monday May 27th. They will be SOMEWHAT seeded based on scores reported as of May 23rd. If you have scores not turned in and you won or lost email them to tom_sunderman@yahoo.com and we will get them entered.

WE NEED TO KNOW WHO IS IN AND WHO IS OUT FOR TOURNEY ASAP. IF YOU HAVE ANY SCHEDULING CONFLICTS ALSO SEND THEM TO US ASAP. IF YOU FORFEIT DURING THE TOURNEY AND TOLD US YOU WERE PLAYING YOU WILL STILL HAVE A FORFEIT FEE. SO GET THIS INFO TOGETHER TO US.

We are 4 weeks into the spring session and the calls to reschedule games and the number of teams calling to cancel at last minute are starting to increase. James and myself have tourneys we are running every weekend, a 140 team spring league to run, and our own program with 32 teams to oversee. It is not easy for us to spend every day rescheduling games. It also takes about 8 - 10 phone calls and obvious waiting on other teams to see if they can move, taking up alot of our time.

We understand we offered both weeknights and Sunday options, but we also tried to match teams up to the best of our ability competitively. Due to this we have some overlapping on what day you play. We did send out an email or two asking everyone to confirm their schedule and most of you did. I know things come up with baseball and rain, school events, and other sports but we want to get these games in for the kids.

We are asking you to work with us to make sure these games go on as scheduled. When you want to move a game it involves more than just you and me, but it also could affect as many as 30 - 40 families. We have attached the reschedule policy for the league. Please look over this and let us know if you have any questions. Please try to adhere to this so we can make sure that all games happen.

SCORES - the winning team is responsible to report the score. The gyms try to record them for us, but sometimes mistakes get made or facility directrs get tied up and can't get the score. If you are scheduled to play tomorrow (Thursday) and have not yet confirmed your game, please email jdeaton.athletics@gmail.com with your team name and division to confirm you have received your game. For all teams, please confirm your complete schedule by emailing jdeaton.athletics@gmail.com with your team name and division. Not all teams have a full 10-game schedule, but we will be reaching out to those teams individually to get those games onto the schedule. Hi coaches. If you are scheduled for a game tomorrow (Sunday, March 24th), and have not already confirmed, please confirm that your team has recieved the first week schedule by emailing jdeaton.athletics@gmail.com as soon as possible with your team name and division. We have only received confirmation from about half of the teams scheduled to play and want to make sure everyone is prepared for their game tomorow.

This is still a very rough schedule and changes will still need to be made based on any conflicts, and additional teams added. Not all teams are scheduled, or have a complete 10-game schedule. If there is a conflict, please email it to both tom_sunderman@yahoo.com and jdeaton.athletics@gmail.com as soon as possible. If you are scheduled to play this coming Sunday-Thursday (March 24-28), please confirm you have received your scheduled game(s) by emailing jdeaton.athletics@gmail.com with your team name, division, and game time. We will be making changes to the rest of the schedule by next Tuesdayin order to add the remaining games and help alleviate any conflicts that arise and a final schedule will be posted by Tuesday night at midnight.

Hi coaches. If you have not already, please confirm that your team has recieved the first week schedule by emailing jdeaton.athletics@gmail.com and tom_sunderman@yahoo.com as soon as possible. We have only received confirmation from about 1/3 of the teams scheduled to play the first week. We want to try and combat no-shows as much as possible the first week. If your team is not scheduled, or is already on the schedule and wants another game, please let us know and we may be able to fit them into the schedule. An UPDATED first week schedule will be posted by 4:00 PM tomorrow (Saturday) with any changes for the first week, but we will try and keep any changes to a minimum
