The Heart Over Hype Memorial Tournament in Honor of Coach Kenny Yates

Description

This event is a Heart Health Awareness basketball tournament to be held on May 17th and 18th in Fort Worth and Weatherford. We will provide CPR/AED demonstrations, blood pressure and heart rate checks, and educational materials to spectators, players, and coaches. We will raise funds to donate to the Play with Heart, Living for Zachary, and In a Heartbeat Foundations, as well as raise money for an academic memorial scholarship fund for college athletes in honor of Coach Kenny Yates. The cost of this year's tournament is $325.00 per team, with each team guaranteed a minimum of three games. Multiple team discounts are offered. Awards will be presented to both first and second-place teams.

General Information

The tournament will take place on May 17th and 18th at the Game On Sports Complex in Fort Worth and at Weatherford High School in Weatherford, TX. This year's entry fee is $325 per team, and each team is guaranteed a minimum of three games. Divisions are available for both boys and girls in grades 3 through 12. Awards will be presented to the first and second place teams.
