Hello Coaches and Team Managers,
We’re excited to welcome you to The Ladies Hardwood! Here’s everything you need to know to prepare for a smooth and successful event:
Event Overview:
• Dates: April 11-13th
• Location: Santa Fe Family Life Center
• Game Start: Games begin on April 11th at 6 PM.
Schedule Release:
• The tournament schedule will be available by Tuesday at midnight the week of the event in the OK Fadeaway Hoops app.
Scheduling Requests:
• If you have any scheduling requests, please submit them by Monday before the event. We’ll do our best to accommodate requests made in advance.
Roster Submission:
• Update your team’s roster in Exposure Events by Thursday before the event.
• We’ve sent emails inviting you to join your team. Updating your roster is quick—only the first and last name of each player along with their jersey number are required. Contact us if you need assistance.
National Sports ID (NSID):
• Ensure all players are verified through NSID. Verification is required to ensure fair play and eligibility. Players without verification will NOT be eligible to participate if protested. Verify your athletes here: https://www.nationalsportsid.com/okfadeaway-age-grade-verification/
Jersey Requirements:
• Players must wear their jerseys to enter the facility.
• If you plan to hand out uniforms on-site, please meet your team outside the venue to distribute them before they enter.

Coach Wristbands:
• Each team will receive two wristbands for coaches at check-in. Wristbands are required for sideline access. Additional wristbands can be purchased in advance or on-site during check-in.

National Qualifier Tournament
Join us for our prestigious National Qualifier Tournament, where the best teams compete for a chance to secure their spot in our Nationals! This highly competitive event features top teams across various divisions, all vying for championship glory and exclusive rewards.
What’s at Stake?
• Championship Teams: Secure your place in the Nationals with a free entry for the winning team in each division and awarded a $500 sponsorship.
• Second Place Teams: Don’t miss out! The runner-up team in each division will receive half off their entry into the Nationals.
Mark your calendars—the Nationals will be held from July 9-13th. This is your opportunity to prove your skills and earn your way to the grand stage. Compete against the best, showcase your talent, and take the next step toward national recognition.
Tournament Details:
• Games Guaranteed: 4 games minimum
• Format: Format: 2-3 pool play games seeding into a bracket for elimination rounds
• Eligibility: Grade-based divisions for the 2024-2025 school year
Ability-Based Divisions:
• Division I (DI): For elite teams seeking the highest level of competition.
• Division II (DII): For developing teams looking for a competitive, yet balanced, environment.
Game Information: (Stop Clock)
• 1st-5th Grade: Two 12-minute halves
• 6th-8th Grade: Two 14-minute halves
• 9th-12th Grade: Two 16-minute halves
• Timeouts: 1 x 30 sec & 1 x 60 sec per half (no carry-over), 1 x 30 sec in OT (no carry-over)
• Fouls: 6 per player; 10 team fouls for 1 & 1; 13 team fouls for double bonus (two shots)
• Overtime: 1st OT: 2 minutes, 2nd OT: sudden death (first team to score at least two points wins)
• Pressing: Specific rules based on grade level
Awards:
• Awards for 1st and 2nd place teams in each division
Coaches:
• Each team is allowed two coaches
• Coaches must wear designated event wristbands to enter and sit on the bench
• Replacement fee for coach’s credential: $20
• Non-compliant coaches will be removed by game officials
• Coaches must be at least 21 years old
Player Verification:
• All players must be National Sports ID (NSID) verified. Verification Link
• Verification is valid from Sept 1st, 2024, to Aug 31st, 2025
• Players only need to be verified once to participate in all events during these dates
• Send the verification link to parents/guardians
Official Protest System:
• If players are protested and not verified through NSID, they will not be eligible to play until verified.
Team Responsibilities:
• Teams must have home and away matching uniforms
• Each team must bring its own warm-up balls; officials will choose the game ball from these
• Home team sits on the left bench next to the scores table and wears a light-colored uniform; visitor team sits on the right and wears a dark uniform
