General Information

The "Tipoff Tournament" marks the beginning of our spring season each year at The Varsity AC. This event is open to Boys in 2nd-8th grades and Girls in 3rd-8th grades. As it is opening weekend, this tournament SELLS OUT quickly ~ we anticipate another sell-out this year, so please register as soon as possible to secure your spot.

Games will take place in gymnasiums around the Cleveland Heights area, with additional locations if necessary. The entry fee for the tournament is $250 per team, and each team is guaranteed a minimum of three games.

At Varsity AC tournaments, we provide TWO (2) scorekeepers for every game, relieving your team of that responsibility. Additionally, all games will have TWO (2) licensed referees and an experienced On-Site Director present at all times. With over 35 years of experience in Sports Event Management both locally and nationwide, you can expect a professional tournament experience when you choose The Varsity Athletic Club!

Please note that the ENTRY DEADLINE is Friday, February 21st (or when we reach full capacity).

*Our "Short Season" Package is exclusively available for 2nd-grade Boys and 3rd & 4th-grade Girls teams. This package includes SIX (6) of our tournaments (pre-selected by us) for a total cost of $950 per team, offering a savings of $700! The discounted package must be paid for and registered by the TIPOFF TOURNAMENT entry deadline.
