The BDExBOAD Bama vs Everybody basketball event schedule is now available online. This tournament is set to take place from May 16–18, 2025, in Birmingham, Alabama at Ossie Ware Middle School.

• Junior Varsity

• 14U (8th Grade) Boys

• 6th/7th Grade Boys

• 10U (4th Grade) Girls

Game Rules
1. Game Length:
-14u and older 15 minute halves (running clock during pool play until last 2 minutes of each game)
-13u and under 14 minute halves (running clock during pool play until last 2 minutes of each games)
2. Warm-up & Halftime:
-3-5 minute warm-up
-2 minute halftime
-All teams must report 10 minutes before game time as the referrers will start the game once both teams are on the floor. Failure to report will result in a forfeit unless cleared with the site director in advance.
-Grace Period; if a team is not ready to play within 10 minutes, the game is officially a forfeit.
3. Overtime:
- 1st Ot: 2 minutes running clock
- 2nd Ot: sudden death, first team to score
4. Timeouts:
- 2 full and 2 thirty-second timeouts per game
- 1 extra timeout during 1st OT
Player Eligibility
1. Age/Grade verification:
-must provide birth certificate and/or report card if challenged
2. Dual Participation:
-Players can't play on more than one team in the same division
Gameplay Rules
1. Mercy Rule:
-Running clock if any team leads by 20+ points in the second half
2. Fouls:
- Players fouls out on 5 fouls
- Bonus on 7th team foul (1 and 1)
- Double bonus on 10th team foul (2 shots)
Conduct and Discipline
1. Coach/Player Ejections:
- Must leave facility
-May be suspended for next game(s)
2. Fan Behavior:
-Poor sportsmanship may result in technical fouls or removal from gym
Uiniforms and Equi[ment
1. 1Ball Size:
-28.5" for girls
-29.5" for all boy divisions
2. Home/Away:
- Home team wears light uniforms and provides game ball.
