Coaches/Team Managers,

Please check your schedule if you are at Complex or Columbia MS (Burbank). We had to move three games around due to a team letting us know they are out for tomorrow. The times were changed as minimal as possible, only one hour...but please check it out and pass the word to your group.

Coaches/Team Managers,

Please take a look at your preliminary division placement for Winter League. If you feel that the group of teams you are with is extremely off, please let us know BY 7PM THIS EVENING! This not only goes for situations where teams feel they might be placed a bit high, but ESPECIALLY in those instances where coaches feel that their team will not be challenged.

We will not be making division changes after this evening, so now is the time if you see something glaring. We do our best, but some of the teams have changed their names (multiple times) and we also have some new teams registered...nothing is perfect, but we are working to set up some competitive balance.

Here are a few things to keep in mind:

1. Some grouping were made based on matching the teams requests, such as Sunday games only if possible.
2. Your team may be in a combo division and have the opinion that they are not "strong enough" to play up. That may be factual, but in at least two cases a combo division has been created with only have one team from the upper level. Those teams in particular did not win a game in fall, and the placement is appropriate. So while a team in 34 Combo may not be competitive in a 4th grade division, they absolutely can have solid games against one or two specific teams.

AGAIN...ANY CHANGE REQUESTS NEED TO BE MADE BY 7PM THIS EVENING TO BE CONSIDERED

If you are a head coach with two teams, we will do our best to support you but it is not guaranteed. Please make sure you have someone available to sit in for you if necessary. Hopefully we can avoid that situation...email midcolumbiahoops@gmail.com (if you haven't already) to let us know the name of the teams you are coaching so that we are aware.
