General Information

Official 662 Ball Brawl Basketball Tournament Game Rules

Team Rules:
Teams must submit roster prior to the start of the tournament
No changes may be made after the start of the team’s 1st guaranteed game
Players may play up in multiple divisions with the same team

Behavioral:
Coaches, players, and spectators are expected to always behave in a professional manner. Any violation may result in being ejected from the game, removed from the property, or forfeit of team game. Officials have the
right to eject coaches, players, spectators, and pause the game if there is a behavioral violation. Only the director will have the authority to call the game for a forfeit.

Games:
3 Games Guaranteed
3 Refs per game
5th-6th Grade (2) 14 minutes halves with 5 minute halftime
7th Grade (2) 16 minutes halves with 5 minute halftime

Ball Size:
5th-7th Grade Girls will play with 28.5
5th Grade Boys will play with 28.5
6th-7th Grade Boys will play with 29.5

Running Clock:
Game will consist of a running clock until the 2nd half of the game at 2 minutes unless there is a 20 point lead.

Overtime:
1st Overtime - 3 minutes
2nd Overtime - 2 minutes
3rd Overtime - 1st team to score

Timeouts:
(4) full timeouts per team
(1) 30 second timeout per team in overtime except for 3rd overtime
*Unused timeouts can not be rolled over to overtime, and 3rd overtime will not have a timeout.

Fouls:
6th personal foul for disqualification
7th team foul of the half, opposing team will shoot 1 and 1
10th team foul of the half, opposing team will shoot 2 free throws
Team fouls will reset for each half except for overtime where will rollover

Technical Fouls:
2 Free throws and possession for opposing team
2nd Technical Foul for player or coach results in ejection
