2nd Annual Heart over Hype Memorial Tournament
Description
Join us for Heart over Hype, a special heart health awareness and fundraising event honoring Coach Kenny Yates. This basketball tournament is dedicated to raising awareness about heart health and the dangers of sudden cardiac arrest (SCA)—the leading cause of death in young athletes. In partnership with Living for Zachary, we’ll host a t-shirt and raffle fundraiser along with CPR demonstrations to empower our community with life-saving skills. This year, Primetime Sports has made Heart over Hype a national qualifier event! 🏆 1st and 2nd place winners in each division will receive trophies, medals, and an exclusive discount to the 2026 Primetime National Championship. Enjoy a full day of education, community, and action, featuring CPR demonstrations led by certified instructors, educational resources on SCA prevention, voluntary blood pressure and heart rate checks, commemorative t-shirts, and an exciting raffle fundraiser with great prizes. Together, we can honor Coach Yates’s legacy by raising awareness, saving lives, and inspiring heart health on and off the court.
