Hello Coaches,

Thank you to all of the coaches and team staff who were able to attend last night's Mandatory Coaches Meeting. I hope it helped answer some of your questions and provided a better understanding of what to expect during the End of Summer Slam!

Since a few teams were unable to have a representative attend, I wanted to summarize the major points that were covered.

*Registration Status*
Team Registration was due July 1 (deadline has passed).
Team Registration Payments were due July 1 (deadline has passed).
If your team still has any outstanding registration or payment issues, please contact one of us as soon as possible.

*Tournament Venues*
Games will be played at the following locations:

ESPN Wide World of Sports
Gaylord Palms Resort & Convention Center
Game Point Event Center

*Parking Information*
ESPN Wide World of Sports
Free parking
Admission ticket required (must be purchased separately through Disney)

Game Point Event Center
Free parking

Gaylord Palms
Parking is charged per vehicle, per entry for day guests.
Overnight hotel guests pay parking once per day, receive in-and-out privileges, and have priority parking if the lot reaches capacity.

*Off-Site Parking Shuttle (Gaylord Palms)*
To help alleviate parking concerns at Gaylord Palms, Elite Sports Events will be providing a shuttle van between an off-site parking location and the Gaylord.

The shuttle will accommodate one rider per family.
The cost is $5 per trip from the off-site parking lot to Gaylord Palms, payable when boarding the shuttle.
There is no charge for transportation from Gaylord Palms back to the off-site parking lot.
The address of the off-site parking location will be provided closer to the event.
To maximize the number of families we can accommodate, we kindly ask that families drop off all passengers at Gaylord Palms first, and then have only the driver use the shuttle from the off-site parking location.
Your cooperation will help us transport as many participants as possible with minimal wait times.

Stay-to-Play Policy
This is a Stay-to-Play Event.
Any team located more than 40 miles from Orlando is required to reserve a minimum of six (6) hotel rooms through Elite Sports Travel.

Deadline: July 10
Teams that do not meet the minimum room requirement will be assessed a $500 opt-out fee per team, due by July 10.

If your team needs:
an Airbnb or vacation home, a preferred hotel, multiple housing options,

*Spectator Admission*
ESPN Wide World of Sports
Admission must be purchased online directly through Disney.

Game Point Event Center & Gaylord Palms
Spectator admissions will be available:
In advance through Exposure Basketball, or At the door

Accepted payment methods:
Credit Card, Debit Card or Cash
A spectator wristband purchased for Game Point or Gaylord Palms is valid at both venues.

Please note that ESPN spectator admission is separate and is not included with entry to Game Point or Gaylord Palms.

*Team Check-In*
Most teams will complete two separate check-ins.
The only exception is teams whose first game is at ESPN Wide World of Sports.

Disney requires all teams competing at ESPN to check in directly at ESPN and does not allow off-site check-in.
Every player and coaching staff member must complete Disney's waiver.

Please print all pages of the waiver, not just the cover and signature pages.
These forms must be turned in directly to Disney staff during check-in.
The waiver will be emailed to coaches the week before the tournament. Additional copies will be available at check-in, but bringing completed forms with you will help speed up the process.

Coach Check-In
Each team will receive two (2) coaching credentials.
Every coach receiving a credential must sign the tournament's Zero Tolerance Policy - This policy states that any player, parent, coach, or team representative involved in a physical altercation will result in the immediate removal of the team from the tournament without refund.

*NSID Requirements*
Before arriving:

Every player must be NSID Verified.
Teams must have joined the Elite Sports Events organization within NSID.
Bring a printed copy of your NSID roster to check-in.
The age eligibility cutoff for this event is August 31, 2026. Please ensure all players are registered in the correct age division based on this date.
Players who are not NSID verified will not be eligible to participate.

Please do not wait until the last minute, as verification processing times increase significantly as the event approaches.

***July 17 High School Divisions (16U and Older)***
To be included in the College Coaches Books, every player profile in Exposure Basketball must include:

***July 20 (9:00 PM ET) Exposure Basketball Rosters Due***
Every team roster must be finalized in Exposure Basketball by 9:00 PM ET.

Maximum of 13 players per team. Each player must include:

Jersey Number

Roster additions or changes made after this deadline:
Will not appear on the official event rosters and will incura $25 roster revision fee for each update.

***July 22 NSID Verification Deadline***
All players must be NSID verified, and your team must have joined the Elite Sports Events organization within NSID prior to the tournament.

July 1 – Team Payments Due
All team registration payments are due today, July 1st. Teams with outstanding balances may be removed to accommodate teams on the waiting list.

July 10 – Stay-to-Play Deadline
End of Summer Slam is a mandatory Stay-to-Play event.

Teams traveling more than 40 miles from Orlando are required to reserve a minimum of six (6) room nights through one of our contracted hotels.

If the required room nights are not confirmed by July 10th, a $500 per team Stay-to-Play opt-out fee will apply.

Teams that do not comply with the Stay-to-Play policy will be ineligible to participate and will not be included on the tournament schedule.

For 16U and older High School divisions, all player information must be entered into your Exposure Basketball roster by July 17th to be included in the College Coaches' Books.

July 20 (9:00 PM ET) – Exposure Basketball Rosters

Any player additions or roster changes made after this deadline will not appear on the official event rosters, and a $25 roster update fee will apply for each roster revision.

We are 31 days away from the 2026 End of Summer Slam!

Tournament play begins Friday, July 24, with games scheduled to start as early as 10:00 AM. Please ensure your team is prepared to compete on Friday, as all teams should expect to play that day.

As we finalize preparations, please review the important deadlines below to ensure your team remains in compliance.

1. Team Registration Deadline – July 1
All teams must be fully registered in Exposure Basketball by July 1.

2. Tournament Payment Deadline – July 1
All entry fees are due no later than July 1.

Teams that are not fully registered and paid by July 1 are at risk of being moved to the waiting list and replaced by teams that are ready to complete their registration.

3. NSID Player Verification
All players must be verified through NSID by AGE, not grade.

Players must meet the age requirements for their division and may not turn older than the division age prior to August 31, 2026.

After all players have been verified, please be sure to use the "Join Tournament" option within NSID. This step is required so your team is connected to the End of Summer Slam and can generate a verified roster for check-in.

4. Stay-to-Play Requirement
Teams traveling more than 40 miles from the tournament venues are required to book a minimum of six (6) hotel room nights per team through our official Stay-to-Play partner.

If your organization has not yet completed its reservations, please do so as soon as possible.

Please verify that your organization's contact information is current in Exposure Basketball.

We also encourage all coaches to download the Exposure Events app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. The app is the best way to stay up to date with:

Schedules / Brackets / Venues / Scores / Tournament updates

6. Compliance Reminder
Failure to meet the registration, payment, NSID verification, or Stay-to-Play requirements by the applicable deadlines may result in your team being deemed non-compliant and ineligible to participate in the event, with no refunds issued.

Hello End of Summer Slam Participants,

As we get closer to the event, here are a few important reminders:

1. NSID Verification
All players must be NSID verified, and verification must remain current through the duration of the event.

2. Payment Deadline
All team payments are due by July 1st. We are on track for another sold-out event and expect to move to a waitlist soon. Any teams not paid by July 2nd will be moved to the waitlist.
For your convenience, we offer several payment options:

Zelle (no additional fees)
Square Invoice (processing fees apply)
Exposure Basketball Invoice (processing fees up to 4%)

3. Stay-to-Play Requirement
This is a stay-to-play event. All traveling teams are required to book accommodations through Elite Team Travel.
There are multiple options available, with new hotels, motels, and resorts being added weekly. Teams who DO NOT book with the below link will be subject to the stay-to-play penalty fee.
