Good Morning, Coaches!

This is another reminder for any team playing a game at ESPN. All coaches must check in at ESPN and turn in entire teams ESPN waivers.

If you'd like to save time, you can print your waivers in advance. They are available under the Documents section in the Exposure App. Copies will also be available at ESPN, but arriving with pre-signed waivers will help speed up the check-in process.

We recommend arriving at least one hour before your scheduled game time to allow enough time for check-in.

If your team did not play yesterday and today is your first day checking in, please remember that all NSIDs must be printed and brought with you for check-in.

Team rosters are now officially locked. No further changes can be made to your roster in Exposure Basketball.

Any team that did not complete its roster with each player's first name, last name, and jersey number will be required to make those updates during tournament check-in. A $25 roster administration fee will be assessed for any roster that must be completed or corrected at check-in.

Please remember:

NSID verified rosters must be presented at check-in.
Any athlete who does not have a valid, verified NSID will be ineligible to participate in the event.
Do not bring birth certificates or any other forms of player verification. Only NSID verification will be accepted.
Please take a few moments to review all messages that have been sent through Exposure Basketball to ensure your team is fully prepared for check-in and a smooth tournament experience.

Hello Coaches, Team Staff, and Spectators,

As many of you know, parking at the Gaylord Palms Resort can be expensive. To help reduce those costs, Elite Sports Events will be providing a shuttle service throughout the tournament weekend.

Shuttle Cost
$5 per person, each way
Payment will be collected as you board the shuttle.
We accept cash or credit/debit cards.
Because the shuttle is a 12-passenger van, we highly recommend dropping off your players, family members, and other passengers at the Gaylord Palms first, then having only the driver use the shuttle. This will allow us to accommodate as many people as possible while helping everyone save on parking expenses.

Please note that officials and scorekeepers will receive priority seating on the shuttle. However, we anticipate having ample space to transport drivers to and from the hotel in a timely manner.

The shuttle will begin operating one hour before the first scheduled game each day and will continue running until one hour after the final game of the day.

We are on the eve of the End of Summer Slam and are excited to welcome your teams to this weekend's event!

Last night at 9:00 PM was the deadline to join the tournament in NSID. At this time, only 40% of teams have completed that requirement. We have extended the compliance deadline one final time to 9:00 PM tonight. If your team has not yet completed this process, please do so immediately. (Steps are listed in the Exposure Events App and website under messages)

This is also a reminder that all team rosters must be submitted in Exposure by 9:00 PM tonight. Every roster must include each player's first and last name and jersey number.

Teams that do not complete both the NSID registration and roster submission by 9:00 PM tonight will be required to:

Arrive early for check-in.
Pay a $25 roster processing fee before any roster changes can be made.
These deadlines have been communicated multiple times and are in place to ensure check-in runs smoothly, efficiently, and respectfully for the many teams that have completed the required steps on time.

There will be no exceptions. Please do not call or text requesting an extension, as we are unable to grant any additional time.

For teams that registered recently, please take a few moments to review all announcements and event information posted in Exposure Basketball so your team is fully prepared for check-in and competition.

Check-in opens tomorrow at 9:00 AM at both Game Point Event Center and Gaylord Palms Convention Center.

Completing these items in advance will help minimize delays and get your team on the court as quickly as possible.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Is there still an Elite Sports Events shuttle providing transportation to Gaylord Palms as mentioned during the coaches meeting?

A: Yes! Shuttle pickup locations and instructions will be sent through the Exposure Events App in a separate email.

Q: Are there parking fees at Gaylord Palms?
A: Yes. Parking is $40 per entry. Overnight hotel guests receive in-and-out privileges. As part of our event, Gaylord Palms has extended a 25% parking discount to End of Summer Slam participants. When you arrive at the parking gate, simply let the attendant know you are attending the End of Summer Slam, and they will apply the discount.

Q: Are there parking fees at Game Point Event Center or ESPN Wide World of Sports?
A: No. Parking is free at both Game Point Event Center and ESPN Wide World of Sports.

Q: Are spectator tickets interchangeable between venues?
A: Gaylord Palms and Game Point Event Center share the same daily spectator wristband. One daily admission allows entry into both venues for that day.


ESPN Wide World of Sports (Disney) requires a separate admission ticket, which must be purchased directly through Disney online.

One daily admission ticket covers both Gaylord Palms and Game Point Event Center for that day. There is no need to purchase separate tickets for each venue.

The tournament schedule was briefly published this morning. Before we had the opportunity to announce that it was live, we received an influx of requests from teams that realized they were registered in the incorrect age divisions.

To allow teams one final opportunity to verify their rosters and divisions, the schedule has been temporarily taken down.

Please Review Your Team's NSID Verification

Reminder:
Elite Sports Events uses an age-based eligibility system with a cutoff date of August 31, 2026.
All players must be NSID verified based on this cutoff date.
A waiver is available only for players born in August. All other players must compete in the appropriate age division.
We expect to republish the schedule tomorrow morning.

⚠️ Once the schedule is released, any division change requests will be subject to a $50 scheduling change fee.

Player Participation Rules
Players may compete in multiple age divisions, provided they remain with the same organization.
Players may not play for multiple organizations during the event.
A player competing in a Division I (D1) team may not also play on a Division II (D2) or Division III (D3) team within the same age division.
Example: A player may play on a 15U D1 team and a 16U D1 team within the same organization. However, that player cannot play on both a 15U D1 team and a 15U D2 or D3 team.

Thank you for taking the time to verify your roster and division placement before the schedule is finalized. Doing so now will help us minimize changes and ensure a smooth start to the tournament.

Please review your team division(s) in the Exposure Basketball App. If your team needs to move divisions due to NSID age verification, please notify us ASAP.

Reminder: NSID Verification is required for all players and eligibility is based on the player's age as of August 31, 2026.

Example: A player who turns 12 years old on or before August 31, 2026 is not eligible to compete in the 11U division.

Division I & Division II: Championship awards will be presented in the Platinum, Gold, and Silver divisions.
Division III: Championship awards will be presented in the Platinum and Gold divisions only.

Search for each player by:

Player ID Number (if provided by the parent), or
First and Last Name
When you find the correct player, click Add Player.

Repeat until all verified players have been added to your roster.

Step 4: Join the Tournament
Go to the Tournaments & Leagues page.
In the Organization search box, type Elite Sports Events.
Select Elite Sports Events from the list.
Click Search.
When the tournament appears, click Join Tournament.

July 1 – Team Payments Due
All team registration payments are due today, July 1st. Teams with outstanding balances may be removed to accommodate teams on the waiting list.

July 10 – Stay-to-Play Deadline
End of Summer Slam is a mandatory Stay-to-Play event.

Teams traveling more than 40 miles from Orlando are required to reserve a minimum of six (6) room nights through one of our contracted hotels.

If the required room nights are not confirmed by July 10th, a $500 per team Stay-to-Play opt-out fee will apply.

Teams that do not comply with the Stay-to-Play policy will be ineligible to participate and will not be included on the tournament schedule.

For 16U and older High School divisions, all player information must be entered into your Exposure Basketball roster by July 17th to be included in the College Coaches' Books.

Please ensure each player profile includes:

Jersey Number
Contact Information
Graduation Year
Incomplete player profiles may not be included in the College Coaches' Books.


July 20 (9:00 PM ET) – Exposure Basketball Rosters
All team rosters must be completed in Exposure Basketball by 9:00 PM (ET) on Monday, July 20th.

Please ensure every player includes:

First & Last Name
Jersey Number

Any player additions or roster changes made after this deadline will not appear on the official event rosters, and a $25 roster update fee will apply for each roster revision.


July 22 – NSID Verification
All players must be NSID verified, and the team must have joined the Elite Sports Events organization within NSID before the tournament.

We are 31 days away from the 2026 End of Summer Slam!

Tournament play begins Friday, July 24, with games scheduled to start as early as 10:00 AM. Please ensure your team is prepared to compete on Friday, as all teams should expect to play that day.

As we finalize preparations, please review the important deadlines below to ensure your team remains in compliance.

1. Team Registration Deadline – July 1
All teams must be fully registered in Exposure Basketball by July 1.

2. Tournament Payment Deadline – July 1
All entry fees are due no later than July 1.

Teams that are not fully registered and paid by July 1 are at risk of being moved to the waiting list and replaced by teams that are ready to complete their registration.

3. NSID Player Verification
All players must be verified through NSID by AGE, not grade.

Players must meet the age requirements for their division and may not turn older than the division age prior to August 31, 2026.

After all players have been verified, please be sure to use the "Join Tournament" option within NSID. This step is required so your team is connected to the End of Summer Slam and can generate a verified roster for check-in.

4. Stay-to-Play Requirement
Teams traveling more than 40 miles from the tournament venues are required to book a minimum of six (6) hotel room nights per team through our official Stay-to-Play partner.

We also encourage all coaches to download the Exposure Events app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. The app is the best way to stay up to date with:

6. Compliance Reminder
Failure to meet the registration, payment, NSID verification, or Stay-to-Play requirements by the applicable deadlines may result in your team being deemed non-compliant and ineligible to participate in the event, with no refunds issued.
