BIG NEWS for all of our basketball family at The Root! We’ve teamed up with the University of Rio Grande to bring you an incredible chance to watch high-quality college basketball and it’s happening THIS WEEKEND!
🔥 Friday, December 12th – Rio Grande Men’s Basketball takes on #9 Cumberlands (KY) at 6:00 PM.
🔥 Saturday, December 13th – Rio Grande Women’s Basketball battles #5 Marian (IN) at 1:00 PM.
These are top-10 matchups featuring elite competition. What an awesome opportunity for our players, families, and community to see basketball played at a VERY high level.

The schedule for the second half of the season will be released in a couple of weeks, once we are able to evaluate the teams in order to create competitive matchups. Thank you.
