AR Roster Deadline
Rosters are due today, by 9pm.

Important reminder for coaches: Submit Rosters
After creating your roster, go to the Events tab
Find GBS Mano Y Mano
Click Submit Rosters
This step must be completed by the coach who owns the roster. Coaches who were simply added to a roster cannot submit it.

Player & Coach Check-In
All coaches and players must check in this weekend.
This helps us protect the integrity of the game and ensure players are competing in the correct divisions.

TEAM CHECK-IN
Check-in will have its own designated area at each venue.
Every player and coach must have a verified account on the AthleteRated app (download
in the App Store or Google Play — all one word: AthleteRated).
The “scan, show, and go” process takes about 3 seconds per person.
Please refer to previous messages for full player verification requirements.
Arrival Guidelines
• Teams ready for check-in should arrive no more than 30 minutes early and use the
Fastlane.
• Teams needing help with roster submission or with unverified players should arrive
45–60 minutes early and visit the Team Check-In Help Desk.
• Venues open 30 minutes before the first scheduled game for team check-in.
• Spectator admission lines open 15 minutes before the first game.
Please plan accordingly.


Player Participation Rules
Players may play up, but may not play down.
Athletes may play on up to two teams within the same organization (not across different organizations).
Player Safety Reminder
Teams may play 3–5 games this weekend.
If a player is participating on two teams, please be mindful of their physical limits to avoid overuse and unnecessary injury.

ADULTS – Cash Prices

Weekend Band (Fri–Sun): $45 (available Friday only)

CHILDREN (Ages 6–12) – Cash Prices
• Friday: $5
• Saturday: $15
• Sunday: $15
Two-Day Band (Sat–Sun): $30 — convenience option for skipping lines Sunday

Band Policy
• All weekend and two-day bands must be worn overnight.
• If you cannot wear a band overnight, do not purchase one — buy a day band
instead.
• Lost bands will not be replaced and must be repurchased.
Electronic Ticketing
Electronic ticketing is available for credit card purchases.
Scan the QR code at the venue and present your digital ticket at admissions.
A $2.00 service fee applies to electronic purchases.

Facility & Travel Notes Saint Leo University - Games we be held in the Bowman Gym only not at the recreation faciility. When you come through the main gate turn right at the roundabout. The campus is open and other events are taking place.


Facility Respect

Please respect all facilities we are using this weekend.
Clean up all trash and leave areas as you found them.
Do not enter spaces that are not designated for tournament use.
We have strong partnerships with these venues and want to continue hosting events here for future teams and attendees.

COACHES BANDS
Each team receives 2 coach bands at check-in before their first game.
All coaches must be listed on the roster.
Additional Coaches
If a coach is listed on the AthleteRated roster (no exceptions), they may purchase one
additional coach band for $10 at player/coach check-in.
Maximum: 1 extra band per team.

INJURED PLAYERS

Injured players must still appear on the roster in the AthleteRated app.
At minimum, they should wear their team jersey during check-in.

This season is built for athletes who want more than just games. It’s built for those chasing real collegiate opportunities. We use Athlete Rated to verify teams, coaches, and players. Athlete Rated helps us promote Fair Play and stop cheating.

We thank each team participating for signing up and allowing us to host your organization. Below you will find plenty of information to help you this weekend. Please pass all information to your players and parents to help us put on the best event possible.

We ask that all teams arrive no more than 30 minutes early.

Rosters are due via Athlete Rated by 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, prior to the start of the event. All Coaches and players will be required to have accounts on the Athlete Rated App and go through the check-in process before their first game to receive credentials


Failure to do so could result in forfeits and prolonged team check-in.

TWO COACHES BANDS
There are 2 bands per team. Bands are received during check-in at your first game. Bands are for coaches only, not spouses, partners, or friends of the family. 

All Coaches should be listed on the roster. 

What if I have more than two Coaches? You can get a 3rd band if:
The coach is listed on the roster (No Exceptions). They can purchase a coach's band for $10.00  at the player and coaches’ entrance. 

GAME RULES

We provide a clock person for all games. The home team must provide someone to do the score sheet. That person must have a Wristband before going onto the court. It can be a Coach or a Spectator.

Standard High School Rules

20 min Halves -Running Clock (Except last 2 mins of 2nd half if the game is within 10 points) (3rd-5th Grade)
22 min Halves -Running Clock (Except last 2 mins of 2nd half if the game is within 10 points) (All girls Games and any court that is more than 25 minutes behind schedule)
14 min Halves – Standard Clock Stoppage (6th- 8th Grade)
16 min Halves – Standard Clock Stoppage. (9th Grade & Up)

ELAM (+4) Overtime 2 min stopping or FIRST TO SCORE 4 TOTAL POINTS (1 TimeOut - No carry over timeouts from regulation)

2-minute Half Time All ages
4- 30-second Timeouts per game
Advancing the Ball Under 1 Minute in the second half-A team that uses their own timeout can advance the ball to half court with under a minute to go at any point they have possession of the ball in the backcourt.
7 team fouls per half per team (1&1)
Double Bonus 10 team fouls per half per team (2 shots)
6 Personal Fouls (Disqualified)
Team Fouls - Teams will shoot two (2) Free Throws on the 10th team foul of each half.
On a technical foul -There will be 2 shots, and the game will resume at the previous point of interruption.
The clock will run if the deficit reaches 20 points at any point during the game until the score has been cut to 10 points.

MERCY RULES

*** 5th grade & below press rule. A team with a 30-point lead cannot press and cannot initiate defense above the half-court.

GAMES CALLED by point differential rules
*** Mercy Rule all ages/ grades - Games are called with 2 minutes in the second half if either team is losing by 20 points or more.
*** Mercy Rule all ages/ grades - Games are called with 4 minutes in the second half if either team is losing by 30 points or more.  (LOSING COACH CAN ELECT TO BYPASS UNTIL THE 2 MINUTE MARK IF THE LEAD IS BETWEEN 30-39)
*** Mercy Rule all ages/ grades - Games are called with 6 minutes in the second half if either team is losing by 40 points or more. (LOSING COACH CAN ELECT TO BYPASS UNTIL THE 4 MINUTE MARK IF THE LEAD IS BETWEEN 40-49)

CODE OF CONDUCT- Lastly, coach, we are relying on you to set a good example for your players and coaches to follow. Please be mindful that referees are people making judgment calls. They may make mistakes. Coaches do have the right to ask questions and make comments. Interaction between coaches and refs should be on a cordial, professional level. Please let your fans know that at no point are they allowed to come onto the playing surface to confront referees directly. Doing so will result in them being ejected without a refund. In the event that a fan or coach is asked to be removed, they must do so promptly (2 minutes). If the fan or coach refuses to leave, the game will be called at that point in favor of the other team, despite the score. NO FIGHTING will be tolerated. This can result in the game being called immediately and the players involved being removed from the remainder of the event. Fighting may also result in Law Enforcement on-site taking action. Excessive trash talk or taunting will not be tolerated. Cursing and Racial slurs will not be tolerated. These things will lead to immediate technical fouls.
