Thank you to everyone for a great Day 1! We appreciate all of the teams, coaches, players, families, college coaches, and staff who helped make Saturday a successful day.

As we prepare for Sunday, we have made two very minor adjustments to the game schedule. Please take a moment tonight to double-check your team’s Sunday schedule and confirm your game times.

A few important reminders for Sunday:

Doors open at 8:30 AM for teams participating in the 9:00 AM games.
All other teams are encouraged to arrive at least 30 minutes prior to their scheduled game time.
Games may begin up to 15 minutes early on Sunday if we are ahead of schedule, so please make sure your team is in the gym and ready to play.
Please continue to treat the gym and facility with respect. Throw away all trash, clean up your bench and seating areas, and help us leave the facility in great condition.
American Youth Academy is a shared facility. Please be especially mindful and respectful of any religious practices or activities taking place in the shared parking lot and surrounding areas.

Hi Everyone,

This is a quick confirmation that the Saturday Morning Clinic will take place as scheduled tomorrow from 7:45 AM–8:45 AM.

If you registered for the clinic, please arrive at the lobby entrance at 7:45 AM sharp. We will meet everyone there and let the group into the facility together.

Advance registration is required to participate in the clinic. If you have not signed up but would still like to participate, we currently have 4 player spots remaining. We also have numerous spots available for high school coaches who would like to participate. REGISTER NOW

IMPORTANT – SPECTATORS/PARENTS:
Spectators, parents, and any other non-participants will not be permitted inside the gym at 7:45 AM for the clinic. Early entry is limited to players and coaches who are registered to participate in the clinic.

Doors will open to everyone else at 8:30 AM. At that time, spectators may enter, admissions will begin, and teams with 9:00 AM games may enter for team check-in.

Please plan accordingly, and all registered clinic participants should be at the lobby entrance promptly at 7:45 AM.

We are excited to have everyone joining us this weekend. Before teams begin traveling, please take a few minutes to read this entire message and forward the important information to your players, coaches and families.

Our goal is to provide a competitive, organized weekend that gives your players a meaningful opportunity to compete and be evaluated by the college programs in attendance.

WE ARE NOT PLAYING AT WIREGRASS RANCH SPORTS COMPLEX.

Please make sure your coaches, players and families have the correct location before leaving home.

IMPORTANT FACILITY & CULTURAL RESPECT
We are extremely thankful to American Youth Academy for allowing us to host this event at their facility, and we value all of our facility partners.

American Youth Academy is located adjacent to a mosque and shares common grounds with the mosque community. We are asking everyone attending our event to be respectful of the facility, its community, culture and religious practices.

Please communicate the following to ALL players, coaches and spectators:

No loud music when arriving, leaving or while in the parking lot.
Please enter and leave the facility fully and appropriately dressed. Males should have shirts on, and everyone should wear appropriate clothing while on the shared grounds.
Watch your language in and around the facility.
Please keep the grounds clean and use the trash cans provided throughout the property.
Be respectful of others using the shared grounds at all times.
We greatly appreciate everyone helping us be good guests and making sure we can continue building relationships with facilities willing to host our events.

DOUBLE-CHECK YOUR SCHEDULE
Please review your team's game schedule one more time before Saturday.

Games begin at 9:00 AM on both Saturday and Sunday.

If you have a 9:00 AM game, doors will open at 8:30 AM.

All other teams should plan to arrive approximately 30–45 minutes before their first game on Saturday to allow enough time for team check-in.

SATURDAY TEAM CHECK-IN — PLAYERS & COACHES
Every team must complete team check-in in the lobby prior to its first game on Saturday.

Your players AND coaches should be present and accounted for during check-in.

Before arriving, your team roster should already be completed online through the Exposure Events roster link that was emailed to you.

We still have two teams with outstanding rosters. If you are one of those teams, please go back to the roster email and complete it immediately.

Every person associated with your team who will be participating should be listed appropriately.

Players: Every player must be listed on the roster with their correct information and must be of the appropriate age/classification for the team on which they are participating.

Coaches/Staff: All coaches and staff must also be listed. However, a maximum of FOUR complimentary coach wristbands will be issued per team.

You may list additional coaches or managers, but anyone beyond the four complimentary staff members will need to purchase admission.

Please determine your four complimentary coaches BEFORE arriving at check-in. We do not want confusion at the admissions table regarding which staff members are receiving bands and which will be purchasing admission.

COACH ATTIRE & BENCH ACCESS
All coaches must be in appropriate coaching attire.

To sit on the team bench during games, a coach must:

Be listed with the team
Be in appropriate coaching attire
Be wearing an official coach wristband
Individuals without the proper wristband will not be permitted on the bench.

SPECTATOR ADMISSION
Please share admission information with your families before they arrive:

Adults / Ages 13+: $20 per day
Youth Ages 6–12: $10 per day
Children 5 & Under: FREE

ADMISSION IS CASH ONLY.

We DO NOT accept credit cards. Please plan accordingly before arriving at the facility.

OUTSTANDING ROSTERS, PLAYER PREVIEWS & PAYMENTS
At this point, team rosters and Top 3 Player Preview Forms are already past due.

The roster information is especially important because it is being used to help the college coaches identify your players. The Top 3 Player Preview information was also collected specifically to highlight your coaching staff's recommended prospects for the college programs.

If either item is still outstanding for your team, please complete it immediately.

Additionally, all team payments should already be completed.

If your team still has an outstanding balance, please take care of it immediately. Teams with an outstanding balance may not be permitted to take the floor for their first game until payment has been resolved.

The clinic is available at no additional cost to eligible teams participating in the full two-day event and will focus on college-level actions, sets and schemes led by collegiate coaches. Space is limited, and a minimum number of participants is required for the session to take place.

The deadline to sign up is TODAY, Thursday, August 27 at 6:00 PM.

If you intend to participate, please register before 6:00 PM so we can finalize the head count. Only register if you are 100% committed to attending.

Confirmation will be sent directly to those who register after we determine whether the required participation has been met.

The goal is to give both players and coaches an opportunity to learn concepts that can help players become better prepared and more college-ready prospects.

There will be a limited number of spots available for both players and coaches, so registration is required to participate.

DUE TODAY — WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 26
There are two important items that must be completed by 6:00 PM today:

TEAM ROSTER: Complete the roster link sent through Exposure Events with each player's name, graduation class and jersey number. These rosters are being provided directly to the college coaches so they can identify your players.
PLAYER PREVIEW FORMS: Submit your Top 3 players based on your coaching staff's recommendation. These player previews will be sent directly to the college coaches on Thursday to help identify prospects they should be watching this weekend.
If you have already completed your roster and Top 3 Player Preview submissions, you do not need to submit them again.

COACHES & STAFF -- All coaches must be listed and in coach's attire to receive a wristband. There is a maximum of four free coaches per team.

Hi Coaches,

Below are the official game rules for this weekend.

We have made a few modifications to the standard high school rules for this event. The goal is to keep games moving, maximize meaningful playing time, and keep players on the floor.

GAME FORMAT
4 quarters — 8 minutes each

Halftime: 2 minutes

TIMEOUTS
Each team will receive:
3 — 30-second timeouts
One of the 30-second timeouts is use-it-or-lose-it in the first half
1 — full 1-minute timeout
All 30-second timeouts will be standing/on-court timeouts

PERSONAL & TEAM FOULS
To keep games moving and help keep key players on the floor, we have modified our foul and free-throw rules.

6 personal fouls before disqualification
Teams enter the bonus on the 5th team foul of each quarter
Quarters 1–3: Bonus free throws will be administered as one shot worth 2 points
If fouled on a 3-point attempt, the player will shoot one free throw worth 3 points
Team fouls reset at the beginning of each quarter
SHOOTING FOULS & AND-1s
During the first 3 quarters and until the final 2:00 of the 4th quarter, we will use modified free throws to reduce stoppages.

For an AND-1, the additional point will be automatically awarded. The player will not shoot the extra free throw.

Once the game reaches the final 2:00 of the 4th quarter, normal high school free-throw procedures will apply.

ADVANCING THE BALL
A team that uses its own timeout with under 1:00 remaining in the 4th quarter may advance the ball to half court when it has possession in the backcourt.

OVERTIME — ELAM (+4)
If the game is tied at the end of regulation:

A target score will be established by adding 4 points to the current score
The first team to reach the target score wins
Each team receives 1 timeout
Regulation timeouts do not carry over
MERCY RULE
If a team is ahead by 20 or more points with 2:00 remaining in the 4th quarter, the game will be called.

This rule is in place to keep players safe and keep the event on schedule.

ALL OTHER RULES
All other rules will follow standard high school basketball rules.

Please make sure your coaching staff is familiar with these modifications before your first game. Officials and event staff will also be briefed on the event-specific rules.

The official schedule is now available for this weekend’s GBS High School Fall Collegiate Team Camp Showcase. -- See attached

Please review your team’s schedule carefully. We have intentionally structured game times around the availability of the collegiate programs attending the event. For example, Varsity Boys will play earlier in the day, while the Girls divisions will play later, allowing teams to compete during the windows when the appropriate college coaches can be in the gym.

This move allows us to add 3 additional college programs to the event while also lowering spectator admission costs.

VIDEO & MEDIA
We will have videographers and basketball publications on site covering the event. However, GBS does not film individual games, so teams and families wanting complete game film should plan accordingly and bring their own recording devices.

SCHEDULE REVISIONS
Please review your schedule carefully. If any adjustments become necessary, we will send out an updated revision.

No further schedule revisions can be made after Thursday morning.
