COACHES,
We appreciate everyone's patience as we worked through several registration and division-related adjustments in the 16U division with team APex 15U and their 16U as well both Bloodhound 16u (We later found out 1 team was a 14u team in a 16U division).
During our final review, we identified a few registration and age-division discrepancies that required schedule revisions. As a result, we had to update game schedules and coordinate changes with both the facility and our officials to ensure fair and appropriate competition for all teams.
The good news is that all issues have been addressed, and we are set to host the event this weekend.
Our scheduler is currently finalizing the last details of the schedule. Please stand by for its release shortly.
Thank you for your patience, flexibility, and support. We look forward to a great weekend of basketball.

Sam Brown
Tournament Director
COACHES,
Please make sure your team roster is updated in the system no later than Friday at 5:00 PM.
Having an accurate roster helps eliminate conflicts regarding player eligibility, roster additions, and game-day participation. If your roster is not updated, it will be difficult for the Tournament Director to make informed decisions regarding whether a player is eligible to participate.
Additionally, please ensure that all players are competing in the appropriate age division and are not participating in a division below their eligible age group.
ALL rosters must be updated by Friday at 5:00 PM. No exceptions.
Additional important information regarding this weekend's event will be sent shortly.
Regards,
Sam Brown

Coaches,
Please be advised that my scheduler and I have carefully reviewed all team registrations and schedule requests for this weekend's event. We have received an unusually high number of scheduling requests, and in an effort to be fair to everyone, we will prioritize requests based on registration and payment order.
Many of you informed me that you coach multiple teams. We also noticed that several coaches requested that their teams not play at the same time because they are coaching both teams. However, upon reviewing some rosters, we found that additional coaches are listed on those teams and that many rosters have seven or fewer players.
If we are unable to accommodate your scheduling request, we highly encourage you to utilize your ONE assistant coach to help manage your team during overlapping game times. EACH TEAM WILL RECIEVE @ COACHES BANDS ONLY!!! NO EXCEPTIONS!!!
Please know that we are working diligently to create the most competitive schedule possible while honoring as many requests as we can. Unfortunately, it may not be possible to accommodate every request. We encourage all coaches to have a contingency plan in place should their preferred schedule not be available.
We appreciate your support, patience, and understanding as we finalize the schedule. It is late, and we are still making a few final adjustments to ensure the best possible experience for all teams.
Thank you for being a part of this event. We look forward to a great weekend of basketball!

Good Day Coaches,
Thank you all for registering for the 2nd Annual DMV Hoopfest at K-Sports in Manassas, Virginia. We are excited to welcome your teams and look forward to a weekend filled with great competition.
We are currently finalizing each division and building competitive pool play schedules. This weekend will feature 8 divisions, each with a minimum of 4 teams. All games will begin at 9:00 AM on four courts and continue throughout the day.
At this time, we are no longer accepting schedule requests. Please be prepared to play at your assigned game times. While we understand that unforeseen circumstances can arise, we cannot adjust schedules based on individual player availability, as doing so impacts other teams and the overall tournament schedule.
We appreciate your cooperation and understanding.
The tournament schedule will be released no later than Thursday at 12:00 PM.
Thank you again for choosing DMV Hoopfest. We look forward to seeing everyone this weekend!

Sam Brown
