The Sparkle City Invitational
Messages
I want to sincerely thank everyone for attending the Sparkle City Invitational this weekend. I also want to apologize for all of the changes and adjustments that took place throughout the week while preparing for the event.
That is not the standard that Amateur Sports Club strives to operate by, and I truly apologize for any inconvenience or frustration the last-minute changes may have caused. A lot of unexpected situations came up very quickly behind the scenes, and while many of you may not have known everything that was happening, I still take full responsibility for the experience.
Thank you all for your patience, understanding, and continued support. We appreciate every coach, player, and family that chose to spend their weekend with us, and we will continue working to provide the best experience possible moving forward.
Good morning, coaches. This is not a message I wanted to be sending early this morning.
This message is for anyone who played at Taylors Rec on Court 1 or was around Court 1 toward the end of the day yesterday. A game ball was taken at the end of the day. Cameras clearly show the person picking up the ball and taking it out of the facility.
We are giving until the end of the day today for the ball to be returned with no questions asked and no consequences. We are simply asking for the return of the ball.
The ball is a Wilson game ball with yellow writing.
If the ball is not returned by the end of the day today, charges will be filed tomorrow.
So again, if it was your child, you, or you happen to see your child with a ball that you know does not belong to them, please contact me and return it immediately.
My number is 864-325-0671.
Please do not call or text asking who it was or asking to see the video. The video will not be released.
Once the ball is returned, the matter is over. No questions asked and no consequences. But if the ball is not returned by tonight, charges will be filed tomorrow.
Thank you, and have a good rest of your day.
Coaches, please make sure your players arrive with either their full uniform on or their shooting shirt on. My staff and I will not allow players to enter the gym without a uniform or shooting shirt.
Again, this rule applies to everyone. Please help us avoid disruptions and delays at the door by making sure your players are properly dressed before arriving.
Good evening, coaches. Please take a moment to review the updated schedule. Due to teams dropping out at the last minute, we had to make adjustments and redo parts of the schedule.
Please check your team’s game times and locations ASAP to make sure you have the most updated information. Thank you for your patience and cooperation.
Good afternoon, coaches. I have received several rosters that are incomplete. All rosters must have the player’s full name, grade, and date of birth filled out completely.
Please also make sure you bring your book with you, including birth certificates and report cards, as we will be checking documentation. Please ensure all roster information is completed and that you have proper verification showing your players are participating in the correct age division and grade level.
The schedule will be posted today by 7 p.m. Please do not reach out regarding the schedule prior to that time. Once the schedule is released, there will be no changes made. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.
Good evening, coaches.
You should have received a link from Exposure asking you to create or upload your roster. Please make sure your roster is completely filled out in Exposure so I can print them out.
Please do not send rosters on Saturday. All rosters must be completed before Saturday morning and must include the player’s first and last name, date of birth, and jersey number. We will not accept Rosters on Saturday
