📜 CODE OF CONDUCT / ZERO TOLERANCE POLICY
We want everyone to enjoy the games, cheer loudly, and support their teams while maintaining a safe and family-friendly environment.

🚨 IMPORTANT:
Poor behavior
Poor sportsmanship
Belligerent or disruptive conduct
👉 Will not be tolerated.

We removed spectators previously and will not hesitate to do so again if necessary.

Buying a ticket or entering your team does not give anyone the right to behave inappropriately.


👦👧 UNACCOMPANIED MINORS
Children remain free because we understand the costs associated with travel sports.

However:

👉 Unaccompanied minors must be supervised at all times.

If minors are:

Roaming unsupervised
Damaging property
Causing disruptions
Responsible parties may be removed immediately without refund.

If issues persist during games:

Games may be stopped
Coaches will have 2 minutes to resolve the issue
Failure to do so may result in forfeiture and jeopardize future event participation

We want to address an important issue that has become increasingly concerning at our events.


👦👧 UNACCOMPANIED MINORS (18 and Under)
Panhandle Basketball has always been proud to be one of the very few event organizations that does not charge for children.

We understand the financial costs associated with travel sports for families, and we have intentionally kept this policy in place because we value our teams and their families.

As someone who has personally been a travel parent for more than 20 years and has 9 children, I understand firsthand the expenses that come with attending youth sporting events.

👉 That is exactly why we have worked hard to avoid adding additional financial burdens for families.


⚠️ HOWEVER…
We are experiencing increasing issues with unaccompanied minors:

Roaming facilities unsupervised
Damaging property
Disrupting the event
Creating safety and behavioral concerns

⚠️ We are not your daycare!

🚨 EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY
If unaccompanied minors continue to create issues:

👉 We may be forced to reconsider our free child admission policy in the future.

This is something we do not want to do.


📌 STRICT ENFORCEMENT POLICY
If we have to address issues involving unaccompanied minors at future events:

The responsible parent/guardian/family member will be:
Removed from the event immediately
No questions asked
No refund issued

⚠️ IMPORTANT
If no responsible adult claims the child:

👉 The Sheriff’s Department will be contacted regarding an abandoned child.


🏀 IN-GAME ENFORCEMENT
If issues involving unaccompanied minors occur during an active game and do not immediately cease:

We will:
Stop the game
Give coaches 2 minutes to resolve the issue themselves

🚨 If the issue is not resolved:
👉 The game will be forfeited

Additionally:

Future attendance at Panhandle Basketball events may be placed in jeopardy

The schedule is about to be released. Please make sure you look over the schedule carefully. There are some pool play games on Sunday morning. That is not something we typically do, however to try to keep the teams close and meet as many of the schedule request we could, we added that to this schedule.

If we have any changes to the schedule, we will send out a "schedule change alert" at the end of the day or in the moring. So you ca make sure you have the most up to date times.

Please have your parents "follow" their team. This allows them to get updates( Messages,scores and game times) sent directly yo them.
