Hello Hardwood Hustle Participants!

We are excited to host you this weekend!

In case anyone missed it, here is the WELCOME EMAIL we sent out earlier this week. We hope you enjoy the Fox Cities! There are countless amazing restaurants, hotels, air adventures (bouncy houses), our Fox River Mall, and more to take in!

COACHES/ATHLETE/FAMILY CHECK-IN

You can use Cash or Card for admissions at either Champion Center or Blaze. No entrance at either location without a wristband. Concessions are found at both locations, but we ask for CASH ONLY at Blaze for Concessions.

The Shell Gas Station next door to Blaze also has a variety of hot food items for purchase as needed.

Friendly reminder that Scorekeepers do get into the tournament for FREE.

Coaches should be picking up 3 FREE wristbands upon check-in to use for coaches and scorekeepers.

LIVESTREAM & SCOREKEEPERS UPDATE

AT THE CHAMPION CENTER, we are using TYME Livestream. You can browse to the event using the link. Browse to your game, select the video to access the livestream of the game. You must create an account and purchase a TYME package ($10 one day / $25 all weekend) to watch tournament through TYME livestream.

AT THE CHAMPION CENTER, we ask that all scorekeepers are diligent to fill out all points, and stats as thoroughly as possible on your scoresheets. MAKE SURE to enter each team name if it is not already on the scoresheet, circle each HALF TIME score, and the FINAL SCORES so it is clear for our Site Directors to enter game details into the Blaze Events app after each game. We have scorekeeper example laminated sheets on the table for you to review.

AT BLAZE, we will have the Hudl Fan Livestreaming. Games being livestreamed at the Blaze Performance Center (Blaze Sports & Fitness) are FREE.

AT BLAZE, we ask that all scorekeepers use the ipad and the ScoreVision app found at each scorer's table with the technology provided to keep track of ALL scores. Parents have said using the ScoreVision ipad at the scorer's table is the easiest they've ever had to use for scorekeeping! Please make sure that all rosters are entered completely, and you start the games on time, and save/exit each game when it is over.

ALL PARTICIPANTS, As long as your Director/Coach sent in the rosters to us, you can find your roster for your team on our BLAZE EVENTS app. Browse to the Hardwood Hustle tournament, your Team Name, and select the "Roster" button. This should also help scorekeepers if needed once we get to bracket play. We encourage both parents at the scorer's table, to work together and verbally call out scores/stats (ex: #14 - 2 points, etc.) so the scorekeeper can keep great stats for both teams. We will have staff walking about to help when needed. There will always be someone at the Director's check-in table if a need arises.

If your Director sent us your roster after 1pm yesterday/Thursday, the roster won't be on our hard print-outs but they will be in the Blaze Events app.

RESPECT CLAUSE - CONDUCT

We do have a zero tolerance policy for foul language and behavior. The refs and the Director will take this seriously. We want to create and keep a positive encouraging and empowering environment for all, and keep the spirit of the game alive! If you have any needs with refs, please communicate kindly to them, and if needed, please seek the Blaze Site Director out for further communication.

Rules will be printed for Coaches and Scorekeepers on the scorer's tables.

Please keep the area around your benches clean. Throw trash away in the bins by the benches. Thank you!

REMINDER
At the Champion Center, Coaches/Scorekeepers/Videographers/Players are the only personnel who should be downstairs by the courts for your games. Spectators are not allowed downstairs. Be kind to the Refs!

At Blaze, be mindful and respectful while walking through the facility and around the courts. Please have the most positive energy ever! Be your teams biggest, most positive, most encouraging fans! Be kind to the Refs!

Hello Hardwood Hustle Participants!

With the team drop yesterday we had some major adjustments and then tweaks all the way up until this morning to the schedule. Please make sure that you review the Blaze Events app for any venue, court, time, and opponent udpates.

We are still in need of 1 Boys 10U or strong 9U team if anyone has a connection for us. We have asked 20 Directors! it would be a FREE entry.

No other changes will be made. Please do all you can to have your full teams ready to roll to give everyone in the tournament a great experience.

All Rosters that have been sent before today have been input. We've had 20 more programs send rosters out since last night, we are currently inputting them. If you want to double check that your rosters have been sent and entered, use the Blaze Events app to navigate to your Division, Team, and then Roster button. Roster instructions for Directors are listed HERE.

These rosters help us keep the score tables efficient, provides double checks for Power Players, and 14U and older athletes (if we received emails) updated on Sports Recruits for any College Coach watching in person or live stream on their Event Beacon app.

Now that we have our schedule finalized, please make sure to plan ahead!
