Description
Join us May 15-17 in New Orleans, La for the Nola Hoops Classic. This event will take place on the campus of Loyola University. We are inviting Girls 17U -13U to participate in this event during the college viewing period.

General Information
1. Each team will play a minimum of 4 games.
2. National High School Federation rules will be followed with the few exceptions listed below.
3. Each player will be allowed a total of six (6) fouls before being disqualified.
4. All games will be played in two (2) fifteen (15) minute halves.
5. Overtime periods will be sudden death with the first team to score at least two points declared
the winner.
6. There will be a running clock in the last ten (10) minutes of the game if and only the point
differential is 20 points or more. Regular timing procedures will resume anytime that the point
differential falls below the 10 point level.
7. There will be a three (3) minute rest period between halves.
8. Teams will be allowed to call three (3) thirty full time-outs during the regulation game. If the
game goes to overtime each team has one (1) full time-out. There is no carry-over of
any unused timeouts from regulation play
9. There will be a minimum of a four (4) minute warm up period between games.
10. A team will reach the 2 shot free throw bonus on their opponent's 10th team foul of each half.
There will be no two shot bonus on the opponent’s 5th team foul.
11. NCAA certified coaches and team players are only allowed to sit on their designated team
bench. NCAA certified coaches must wear colored event wristbands designated for the event.
Coaches that are not in compliance with this rule will be removed from the bench by the
game officials. Any complications could result in that coach’s team having to forfeit the game.
No trainers, scorekeepers, or managers are allowed to sit on the bench unless they are certified
by the NCAA.
12. No game will begin before the time listed on the official game schedule.
13. The home team will be listed first in pool play or at the top of the bracket and will wear light colored uniforms.

Planning NCAA Certification
This event is planning to be a NCAA certified event.
All teams participating at an NCAA certified event must register online prior to reporting to participate in the event. Failure to register and submit all required information will result in a team being denied participation in all NCAA certified events. Coaches are expected to keep their online rosters updated.

All individuals who are involved in coaching activities at a NCAA certified event must renew their USA Basketball Coach License and be approved by the NCAA prior to participation in the event. This must be completed in order to sit on a bench at any NCAA certified event.
