NEW! Nordonia Basketball Club 🏀
We are excited to announce a NEW Nordonia Basketball Club After-School Program!
This program is designed to help kids build their basketball skills while having fun with friends from school. Players will work on dribbling, shooting, and other fundamental basketball skills in a fun and encouraging environment.
Our after-school programs give children the opportunity to learn and develop their skills at their own pace, right at their school.

Thank you for having your son or daughter participate in the Nordonia Jr. Knights Basketball tryouts. We truly appreciate the time, effort, and enthusiasm they brought throughout the evaluation process.
After careful consideration and evaluation of all players, our team selections have been completed. If you have not already heard from a coach, the head coaches will be contacting every family—both those who were selected and those who were not—by the end of this weekend.
Please know that these decisions were not easy. We had an outstanding group of talented athletes attend tryouts, making the selection process extremely competitive. Not being selected for a Jr. Knights team is not a reflection of your child's potential, work ethic, or love for the game.
We strongly encourage your child to continue developing their skills by participating in our NBA Recreation Basketball Program. The recreational program provides valuable instruction, game experience, and continued player development, and many of our current Jr. Knights players began their journey there. Families who participated in Jr. Knights tryouts will also receive first priority for placement in the recreation league.

General Information
NBA welcomes you to another season of basketball!
Here are the key details of our boys & girls basketball program for the 2026-27 season:
Registration:
Registration is now OPEN for 2nd-6th grade boys & girls basketball.
Tryouts:
Evaluations are run by experienced coaches and volunteers.
Players will be assessed through skills and 5v5 scrimmages.
Teams are typically ~10 players per grade. Not every player will make a roster, but younger athletes develop at different speeds. We’ll share resources for continued development if needed. Any player who doesnt make it will be placed on our NBA rec team.
Season:
1) Games: mid-November through early February (Midwest Travel League, OhioBasketball or BigLeaf/TNBA).
2) Tournaments: 2 team tournements during the season
3) PreSeason 3v3 tournement
4) Practices: 2x per week starting in late October
5) 10 week preseason skills training camp session at KBS Basketball (NBA Courts).
Each team may also add tournaments at the coaches’ discretion (additional cost).
Program Costs:
Estimated fee: $450 (covers 5 months of league fees, tournaments, practices, uniforms, NBA administrative costs, and independent coaching staff) + a team fundraiser.
Commitment:
Travel basketball requires full commitment, no exceptions. Players are expected to attend all practices and games. If your son is planning to play multiple sports this winter, you must decide now whether he can fully commit to this team. Repeated absences will not be tolerated and will directly impact playing time and roster status. This program is for families ready to prioritize travel basketball above other activities.
