4th Annual Big South Nationals Impact Nation 3rd

We have a tournament in Panama City October 18th and 19th. Quick hits:
Saturday October 18th and Sunday October 19th
Panama City, FL

1 team: 175.00
2 team: 150.00
We already have 30 plus teams registered. Really good numbers for 10th and Varsity but all divisions have teams registered.

3 game guarantee
pool play Saturday (2 games)
bracket play Sunday (minimum 1 game)

awards for 1st and 2nd in all divisions.

Gate is 35 weekend pass/20 daily.

Schedule requests should be easy to work and important with college football. If interested please let me know and go ahead and register on expsoure.

I had the schedule wrong for 8th boys gold. Had all bracket games back to back to back to back to back. First two games of 8th gold bracket Boys are same, but changes after that to give you some rest for those that advance.

I'm going to post brackets but they are NOT final. We have some combined divisions so need to separate those grades after pool play but will post them now and shoild be good for most divisions. Please look for final update by 7:00 PM bit most of these are good to go.

Please double check the schedule from changes made last night!

Check in: We have 7 venues going. Please have your NSID or age verification handy. Any challenge must be made BEFORE a game tips off. No challenges after a game has started.

Player eligibility: No play downs. If your in 5th grade, you play 5th grade bracket. If your a Freshman this year, you play in 9th grade, Sophomore 10th, etc. Teams are subject to forfeit if any player is not legal for all games played and not eligible for the rest of tournament. Teams could face a possible suspension from Panhandle Basketball as well.

Game rules:
2025 Tournament Rules





· (2) 16-minute halves grades 6th-Varsity. 5th & under is 14 -minute halves. Running clock until last 2 minutes of the 1st half & 2nd half. Clock stops on timeouts.

· 4 timeouts per game. 45 seconds in length

· 1 &1 free throws on the 7th foul during a half. Standard free throw shooting

· Overtime is 2 minutes. If still tied after first overtime, the 2nd overtime is sudden death. First point wins.

· Timeouts from regulation do not carry over into overtime. Fouls carry over. One timeout in overtime.

· No press up 20 points

· Running clock with a 25-point lead. Running clock under 2 minutes in the 2nd half with a 20-point lead.

· Players may move on the release at the free throw line

· Players must play on Saturday to be eligible for Sunday games

· Only 2 coaches allowed on each team’s bench. Only 1 coach may stand and coach. No parents or other players should be near the bench while the game is in progress. Scorekeepers may not sit at the scorers table. The bench is for only players participating in the game. No other grade level players may sit on the bench. Parents or Coaches should not approach the score table or come onto the court unless there is an injury.

Home team provides game ball. Home team is listed on schedule on exposure.

REMINDER: Gate is 35/45, kids 12 under free, CASH only.

All games at Gulf Coast College are being moved ty Bay Haven Charter Academy. We just got a call saying they need it for volleyball. Same game times, new gym. We are making a few small changes on Girls Varsity and Girls 7th as well. PLEASE CHECK THE SCHEDULE IN ONE HOUR. We will send out an alert on schedule again as soon as it is updated. Thanks all!

Hi all,
Thanks for your patience. Schedule is live. We might make some changes and mainly on venue. There is a chance we will swtich out from one existing gym to another based on logistics. We will post any schedule updates to make sure you check them.
Quick reminders:
1.) Home team provides game ball.
2.) No one allowed at scorer's table or behind benches.
3.) Max two coaches on bench. One must remain seated.
4.) Cash only gate.
5.) Schedule request is a request, not a guarantee. Think we took care of most of your requests.
6.) Don't ask for any bracket changes on Sunday. We went deep on gyms so we would not go late on Sautrday or Sunday and be able to finish at a reasonable time.

Will post separate messages on rules. Please educate and share with your fans so they won't yell "clock" while it's running during a game :).

Hi and welcome to our sold out Big South Nationals. Let's get to it:

1.) Payment: Please see previous email. We have over 10 teams on the waiting list, if your not coming PLEASE LET US KNOW. If your not paid, we will start removing teams and filling with wait list. Please note a screen shot of a cashapp payment must have Big South Nationals and confirmation of receipt from either John or Brent from Panhandle. If you need help with payment information please email: southernelitesport1@gmail.com. We will not release schedule until the field is finalized on payment. Please don't be the team we are waiting to release the schedule on :)

2.) Gate: 35.00 day pass/45.00 weekend pass. CASH ONLY! We will remind you of this 3 more times but coaches please pass on to parents this is a cash only -policy.

3.) Security and code of conduct: Every gym will have security on premise. We have a zero tolerance policy on abusive language, fighting, impaired fans, etc. If a parent is asked to leave the gym they will not be allowed to return and no refunds will be given. The only people allowed behind player benches/scorer's table are coaches and players of the current game. NO EXCEPTIONS. 2 coaches on the bench, videographer is not allowed on bench or bench side. This will result in a technical fouls if not followed.

4.) Age verification and player rules: All teams must have NSID. If you don't have age verification, don't come. We will check teams and rosters. If you don't have NSID you must check in before your first game with entire team and roster. Players must be on the roster and on the bench Saturday to play Sunday. Players are allowed to play up but not down. Any team found cheating on rosters, player eligibility will be immediately forfeit the entire weekend. Put simply: Don't cheat, play your age, have proof of players age or don't come to Panama City this weekend. Teams play a lot of money to travel and enjoy the game we all love, we host fair tournaments and expect your teams to do the same. Again, if you don't have age verification, please do not come to this tournament. You will be checked.

5.) Uniforms: Teams must have matching uniforms. If a player does not have a uniform he or she will not be allowed to play. Any variation of a uniform can be approved by the local Panhandle gym director only. If you see this being a problem, please email Chris at Chris@legistixsolutions.com to discuss solutions for your uniform issue.

6.) Outside food and drink: Our concession prices are very fair. You CAN NOT bring in team coolers or outside food to any venue. These are venue policies, not ours.

7.) Staffing: We will have two people to do book and clock. Home team provides game ball or can defer to away team. Referees have the option to pick game ball between both teams if not satisfited with home team basketballs.

8.) Game rules: Will be posted later this week.

9;) Schedule Requests: Please know that we are using 8 different facilities for a total of 10 courts. This is a request, not a guarantee. If you coach mutiple teams, I can not guarantee your going to be in the same gym. We would encourage you to make sure every team has a coach for every team. For instance if Coach Smith wants to coach 3 teams on Saturday and Sunday, that physically wont be possible. Please make arrangements that cover all teams. We can not guarantee that a coach who has multiple teams will get the same gym or time requests. Have a plan. Sunday there are no schedule requests. Our last game won't start later than 5:00 PM CST. We have spent extra money to have plenty of gym time and allow you to enjoy your time off in beautiful Panama City, Florida. We won't be late Saturday night either. Please help us, and other teams, by submitting realistic schedule requests based on time. DO NOT TEXT REQUESTS, they must be emailed to chris@legistixsolutions.com by 6:00 PM CST Monday.

Timeline:
Monday by 6:00 PM CST: Payments due
Monday by 6:00 PM CST: Schedule request deadline. Teams that have not paid will not have schedule requests honored.
Tuesday by 3:00 PM CST: Teams not paid removed from tournament and teams on waitlng list replaced. Team list released on exposure.
Wednesday/Thursday; Schedule release either Wednesday or Thursday .
Thursday at 8:00 PM CST: Schedule is locked if any revisions are made.
Friday night 11:00 PM CST: Sunday brackets released.
