Terms and Conditions for PQSports Spring Finale Basketball Tournament
By registering and participating in the PQSports Spring Finale Basketball Tournament, hosted by PQSports and Triple Elite Youth Sports, you agree to the following terms and conditions:
1. Registration and Payment:
o All teams must complete registration by May 26, 2025.
o Payment is due at the time of registration via online payment portal or Cash App ($PQSports).
o Registration fees are non-refundable unless the event is canceled by the organizers.
2. Eligibility and Team Composition:
o Teams must compete in their designated division based on grade level: 1st–8th Grade, High School JV, or Varsity.
o Players may only compete for one team per division during the tournament.
o Proof of player eligibility (e.g., age or grade verification) must be provided upon request.
3. Event Rules and Conduct:
o All games will follow official tournament rules, provided in advance to coaches.
o Certified officials will oversee all games, and their decisions are final.
o Unsportsmanlike conduct by players, coaches, or spectators will result in removal from the event without refund.
4. Media Coverage and Publicity:
o By participating, you grant PQSports the right to use photographs, videos, and other media from the event for promotional purposes.
o Individual players and teams may be highlighted in media coverage, social media, and event recaps.
5. Liability and Safety:
o PQSports are not responsible for injuries, lost items, or damages occurring during the event.
o Each team is required to have liability insurance, and participants must have personal health coverage.
6. Awards and National Championship Qualification:
o Tournament winners will receive free entry into the PQSports Summer Grand Prix National Championship on July 18–20, 2025 in Atlanta, GA Area.
o Awards for 1st and 2nd place teams, All-Tournament Team, and MVP will be presented at the conclusion of the event.
7. Event Modifications:
o The organizers reserve the right to adjust schedules, brackets, and rules as necessary to ensure a smooth event.
o In case of unforeseen circumstances (e.g., inclement weather), updates will be communicated promptly to registered teams.
8. Code of Conduct:
o Coaches, players, and spectators must adhere to a high standard of sportsmanship and respect toward officials, opponents, and staff.
o Any violation may result in penalties, including disqualification or ejection from the event.
By completing your registration, paying your entry fee, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these terms and conditions.
