Join us for Heart over Hype, a special heart health awareness and fundraising basketball event honoring Coach Kenny Yates. This basketball tournament is dedicated to raising awareness about heart health and the dangers of sudden cardiac arrest (SCA)—the leading cause of death in young athletes. To honor Coach Yates' philanthropic spirit, a portion of the profits from this tournament will be used to cover the college costs for four of our Opportunity for Youth academic scholarship recipients. We will also host a t-shirt and raffle fundraiser along with CPR demonstrations to empower our community with life-saving skills. This year, Primetime Sports has made Heart over Hype a national qualifier event! 🏆 1st and 2nd place winners in each division will receive trophies, medals, and an exclusive discount to the 2026 Primetime National Championship. Together, we can honor Coach Yates’s legacy by raising awareness, saving lives, and inspiring heart health on and off the court.
