Terms & Conditions
By registering and participating in the I-20 Opening Showdown Basketball Tournament, hosted by PQSports and Triple Elite Youth Sports, you agree to the following:
Registration & Payment: Registration deadline is March 8, 2026. Payment is due at the time of registration via the online portal. All fees are non-refundable unless the event is canceled by the organizers.
Eligibility: Teams must compete in their designated division (1st–8th Grade, High School JV, Varsity). Players may only compete with one team per division. Proof of eligibility may be requested.
Event Rules & Conduct: All games follow official tournament rules. Certified officials’ decisions are final. Unsportsmanlike conduct by players, coaches, or spectators will result in removal without refund.
Media & Publicity: By participating, you grant PQSports the right to use photos, videos, and media for promotional purposes, including social media, websites, and event recaps.
Liability & Safety: PQSports is not responsible for injuries, lost items, or damages. Each team must carry liability insurance, and all participants must have health coverage.
Awards & Qualification: Champions will receive free entry into the PQSports Summer Grand Prix National Championship (July 3-5, 2026 | Atlanta, GA area). Awards include 1st & 2nd place trophies, All-Tournament Team, and MVP recognition.
Event Modifications: Organizers may adjust schedules, brackets, or rules as needed. In case of inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances, updates will be communicated promptly to teams.
Code of Conduct: Coaches, players, and spectators must demonstrate sportsmanship and respect at all times. Violations may result in penalties, disqualification, or ejection.
