Emma “Ody” Pohl Gymnasium Columbus, MS About: The MUW Men’s Basketball Program is hosting an AAU basketball tournament for both girls and boys in the High School, 16U, and 14U divisions this summer on the MUW campus. We are excited to host this prestigious tournament for the first time in our home gym. There will be a three-game guarantee with the tournament starting on Friday, May 31st and running through Sunday, June 2nd. All games will be played on either the main floor or the practice floor at MUW’s Pohl Gymnasium. Cost: $200 entry fee for each team (There will be a $20 discount for entry of multiple teams from the same program) There will be an $8 daily admission price for spectators or $20 for the entire weekend Game Details: Two 18-minute halves 1-and-1 after seven fouls, 2 shots after ten fouls and beyond Overtime: two minutes Each team will receive four timeouts (2 30’s and 2 Fulls) to be used at any time throughout the game Players will be disqualified after committing his or her 5th foul Miscellaneous: Teams must provide own basketballs Water will be provided on the bench for each team Concessions will be available If sending in a check, please select $0 deposit.
