Below are some commonly asked questions about the Exposure Basketball Events platform.
I have my own website, can Exposure Basketball Events integrate with it?
We currently offer three approaches to integrate tournament information into your existing website.
The first approach is integrating with our API. This can give you the most flexibility. Accept payments and team registrations from your current website or application, along with displaying teams, documents, venues, etc in any format you like. This approach would require a professional web developer to integrate it or hire us to do it.
The second approach is the concept of widgets. These can be copied and pasted into any web page without the hassle of hiring a developer, but offers some flexibility.
The third approach is copying and pasting hyperlinks into your current website that link to reports found on Exposure Basketball Events. These reports display teams, standings, schedules, brackets, and much more. Once copied and pasted into your website any changes you make will be reflected in the report. This approach is the easiest but offers the least flexibility.
How do you compare to other event services?
We can say without a doubt we are the best in the business, but don't ask us decide yourself by checking out our Exposure vs the Competition comparison chart.
Who do I contact about video streaming consumer questions?
We don't charge or stream video content but work with other streaming vendors that do. Please contact them with any questions about streaming, pricing or refunds.
Can I market my event for free?
Only if you are Exposure Certified or post a Tryout or Individual Camp/Clinic, otherwise you will need to purchase a marketing credit and apply it to the event. Review how Exposure markets and promotes your events with many different types of advertising strategies.
Does the scheduling service cost anything?
To publish a schedule teams must have a credit applied to them, otherwise they will be hidden. Scheduling credits can be purchased on the pricing page. Otherwise all other features are available for free.
Do I have to buy credits to demo the platform for scheduling?
No, you have access to the entire platform. The only exception is publishing a schedule will not have teams visible until credits are purchased and applied to them.
Is the site secure for payment processing?
We are PCI Compliant meaning our environment is secure to accept, process, store or transmit credit card information. We don't however store any credit card information on our servers.
Does online payments cost anything?
We don't charge for online payments unless you are using the EventStore™ product which is an additional 1% on top of the Stripe or Square fee. For our free option, it is your responsibility to setup a payment vendor from the list of merchants we provide for the single team/individual registration. These merchants usually have a monthly and credit card transaction fee.
Where can I purchase iScore credits?
Visit purchase iScores credits page to add iScore credits to your account to take advantage of live box scores during an event.
